My husband and I spent 5 night at the Grand Napat. We had a very enjoyable comfortable stay. Staff friendly, always great you and where helpful. Rooms clean beds comfortable. Property spotless and well maintained. Shuttle is great. Easy to get back to resort from town 60 baht for 2 on red trucks. Loved the pool.and the gym. Food good. 711 a 1 minute walk was very handy. 200 baht to airport by grab. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a 2 bedroom apartment which was was so nice. Air on worked great it was lovely and clean everyday, launderette round the corner was reasonably priced to get our washing done. Breakfast was lovely and good choice and the staff were lovely can’t see why anyone would say different unless maybe they had been rude in their manner to the staff but I witnessed non of that. My emails before we went were responded too short and sweet and slightly slow response but they were still responded to which is good communication. We didn’t eat around the hotel but for 110bht got taxi to chiang mai town. There is a supermarket and cash point round the corner of the hotel. The lemon grass restaurant is a must visit lovely food. We loved our time in the hotel pool was a lovely retreat after our days out and we were sad to leave will definitely come back!…
All staff are so helpful. Very clean rooms spacious. Having free shuttle to airport or to Old town twice a day was huge bonus. Breakfast was good. Bathrooms could use a bit of update, other than that, awesome stay!
This hotel is a little outside the main "old city" and is a prominently "local area." It's less than 100 baht to get to old city area and about 150 baht to the university area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had questions on specific places we wanted to see that were off the beaten path and they were able to help us get there. The morning breakfast features both Thai and western style items. The pool was very clean and there was a nice looking fitness center for those who want to work out. The room was spacious and has its own kitchenette with a mini fridge. The shower had nice hot water and the bathroom had some fun emerald green tile. They also offer free shuttles to town; once in the morning and once at night. If you're like us and like to stay in the less touristy areas, meet people and try local food then I'd definitely recommend this hotel! …
The front desk staff is very rude and unfriendly. They refused to acknowledge my free breakfast in my paid up package until they checked with Expedia and confirmed . Tried to rent a bike through the hotel’s bike rental listing and they raised their price instantly and were arrogant and rude too . The hotel refused to help get a good deal . Please carry detailed print outs of your package to avoid confusion.
My partner is the hotel shopper. We are loyal and choose carefully! We choose Grand Napat over all others in this price range because it excels in every category from breakfast buffet to security. I love the corner units with the sitting room especially on the 5th floor. They have a full kitchen and that means a nice size refrigerator! The luxury bed linens and cloud soft pillows give you sweet dreams. We often splurge a little and book a suite to gaze upon Doi Suthep or see the sunrise on the other side- as if we are already up at the famous Wat. I love the colors of sunrise as well as a memorable sunset! The reception staff are professional yet very welcoming.
As it is located away from centre the hotel is quiet and nice for family. The complimentary airport transfer and at evening to night market is a plus point. Bicycle is free to use. Room is spacious with small pantry and microwave which is convenient. Bed a bit too hard for my liking though. Overall the room is time for get some refurbishment. They have DVD (800++ title to choose from) so you could watch movie if lazy to go out. Breakfast is limited and so so. Staff is helpful and friendly.
The Grand Napat fully met our needs in Chiang Mai staying in a spacious two bedroom apartment. This is very good value with complimentary airport pickup and drop off and breakfast. Staff very helpful and accommodating in organising taxis to the old city.
This was a wonderful stay. The whole family was happy! Room service-superb! The staff was so nice and helpful starting with our first day there and ending with wonderful caring. Every day was a joy to be at the Grand Napat. Beautiful Buffet breakfast every morning with sweet and helpful staff. Free DVD movies! Bicycles with locks available for use. Comfortable beds and pillows. Loved the waterfall swimming pool. You will love the staff. Thank you Grand Napat. We will always remember our stay with you. We miss you every day. We want to come back! We loved the Grand Napat so much, I could write a song about it )
I spent 7 fantastic days in the Grand Napat! Delicious breakfast, accommodating staff, and not far from the Old City and the Night Bazaar. In fact, the day before I was supposed to check out, it appeared I might need to stay longer because my home city (Hong Kong) has been on lockdown. They made arrangements for me to stay longer, if necessary, at a very reasonable price! This is a super hotel in a marvelous part of Thailand!
