This hostel in the old city is friendly, clean and has nice large rooms, some with views over the old city. There is a roof terrace and a small cold water swimming pool. Staff is super friendly. Tours can be arranged.

My sister and I travelled in from Canada in January (delayed on our trip advisor reviews) and this was our first stop. We loved the cute little hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were simple but the little touches of each room made it very pretty. The shower was probably the best shower we had throughout...

The location is indeed excellent. The staff tries his best to help, especially Bruce, they are very friendly and welcoming and deliver a good service. The rooms are not expensive, clean, confortables and the setting is very nice, which is surprising for the price. The bathroom not so nice maybe... But still overall an excellent deal.

The location is quite good, no loud noises at night and close enough to be able to walk all around the city centre to see the sights. Room was ok, nothing special, was clean enough but not spotless. Did have a safe, which is always nice to have.

Really people, the is NOT a five-dot place to stay in Chiang Mai. The location is great on a small lane just off the main Ratchadamnoen Road. The rooms are quite basic and we paid for one of the best ones. The bathroom was a wee bit moldy in spots. Just an okay 3-dot kind of place by Thailand standards...

We had a lovely stay at Awana house! It's in a fantastic location right in the centre and has a beautiful entrance way with lovely plants - nice to sit there with a drink in the evening! The pool was really lovely - a bit cold but lovely and refreshing after temple spotting! The staff were super friendly and helpful...

We were happy with our stay here, mostly because the location is excellent. it's right at the Tha Phae Gate and we could easily walk to everything. The price was quite good, we paid about $35 per night. The room was adequate no problem. I did not care for the staff, however. They were somewhat helpful, but not accommodating to...

We just finished a 4 day stay there. We had 2 rooms. One was great, spacious, and clean. The other room was clean and neat but had small, tight quarters, with a terribly mold stained bathroom. The black mold was on all the grouting between the tiles. The bathroom also had a puddle of water on the floor at all...

Stayed in the family room pictured on the web, nice and big compared to other places. Arrived early and left bags in their store to go explore. Location is the right side of town for Night Bazaar. Pool cold but refreshing! Overall a lovely place - I recommend the Awana House massage across the road too, they have a cool...

The location is perfect in the old cities and near temples and restaurants. The guesthouse is quiet and peaceful. However breakfast is not included and if you want it, you pay a bit more than the average price outside. The room we were given was large and comfortable wifi worked well.
