near kao san road, but outside enough to have a quieter atmosphere. still a very busy area, with all amenities, restaurants, bars, all you need. it is very clea, although rather small rooms. no outside window. basic accommodation but very helpful staff and great location
I have stayed here on 3 different occasion on my travels through Asia. It's a great clean cheap hostel with a fantastic restaurant, it's placed out of the chaos of Koh San road but close enough to walk there, air conditioning always works and smells...More

Perfect to dump bags and get out exploring. Quite a small compact room but clean and tidy nonetheless. Good location not far from khaosan road. Staff friendly as we found is the same across Thailand. Bathroom clean and shower worked well!!!
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
