This was my third trip to Bangkok, and I can confidently say that Clover Asoke was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in! It has everything a traveler could need: comfort, perfect location, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Here’s a bit about our experience:
Service All the staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and speak very good English, which made communication easy. I especially want to mention the restaurant team, including Noona, Kookai, Mos, New, Ann, One, and the chef (who was kind enough to teach me how to make authentic Thai noodles!). The reception team was also super welcoming – they were all so sweet, even if I don’t remember all their names. Plus, the reservations team, with Mr. Light and Satawat, did an excellent job taking care of every detail of our stay. And I can’t forget the cleaning staff, always smiling and ready to help!
Cleanliness The room was always spotless! We requested housekeeping on some days, and every time we returned, everything was beautifully arranged and tidy. Wet towels were replaced daily, and they even provided an iron and ironing board for us. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, and since I have allergies, it was a relief that the room had no mold or dampness – I slept very well!
Location The location is unbeatable! The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the Blue Line metro station and the BTS (Skytrain), making it incredibly easy to get around. There’s also a huge shopping mall just 5 minutes away on foot, along with many restaurants, pubs, and entertainment options nearby. The area is lively and safe, and because it’s on the main road, it’s easy to get a taxi, Grab, or even a motorbike. But I highly recommend the metro since it’s fast and most attractions are along the Blue Line.
Facilities and Amenities Clover Asoke offers an impressive range of amenities! I love collecting them, and they were so generous here. In our room, we had a mini fridge, espresso machine, water kettle, tea, coffee pods, cold water, and even two juices provided for our stay. The room also had a TV (though we barely used it, being so busy exploring the city).
The hotel also has a great restaurant, a practical coworking space, and a rooftop pool with a bar offering an amazing view of Bangkok. It’s the perfect spot to relax, escape the city’s hustle, and enjoy a drink at the end of the day! The elevator only opens with the room card, adding extra security for guests. The air conditioning worked perfectly without any noise, and even though we were near a busy street, we didn’t hear a thing from outside.
Comfort and Decor The bed was very comfortable, ideal for recharging after a day of exploring Bangkok! The room’s decor truly matches the city’s vibe – lively and diverse. The hotel’s artistic atmosphere really adds to the experience.
Breakfast Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay! With both Western and Asian options, there was something for everyone: fruits, bread, noodles, salads, a variety of dishes, juices, two espresso machines, and freshly made omelets. There was so much variety that I barely needed lunch! And making your own noodles was a fun experience – I recommend asking for help if you’re unsure about the recipe (the chef kindly gave me some great tips afterward).
You can have breakfast in the swimming pool.
We will definitely return to Clover Asoke on future visits. If you’re looking for high-quality accommodation with comfort and a prime location in Bangkok, this is the place to be! This hotel truly understands travelers’ needs and makes you feel at home.

Since my 2019 stay, Bangkok hotels suffered when tourism slumped. Now great deals are available. Hotel Clover Asoke rooms can be booked at a substantial discount from their pre-Covid rate.
Hotel staff are scrupulous in masking and cleaning, yet this hasn’t diminished their attentiveness and conscientiousness - a hallmark of my prior visits.
The fitness room is now on the rooftop with a panoramic view of the MRT/BTS interchange and Bangkok’s bustling traffic. Though small, I used the rooftop pool to swim laps, occasionally peering down at the street below through the transparent pool floor.
While not included in my booking, I enjoyed their ฿250 buffet breakfast during my extended stay. The chef varies selections, offering spaghetti, bruschetta and chicken satay. This on top of the noodle and egg bar plus a great cappuccino machine.
The hotel’s location can’t be beat, close to the MRT/BTS interchange. That and their service is why I have stayed here on five different visits.

I have stayed at this great boutique hotel three times now and just love the location, rooms, rooftop bar (what a view) and staff. The food in the restaurant is great, and the breakfast is recommended and the mood and vibe at the top floor is nice. You can also book a meeting room on this floor, which has a great view of the pool and Terminal 21 area.
The only issues I had are typical frequent travel stuff and the small things you learn when you have been at a hotel several times; a) The barkeeper is great, friendly and makes great cocktails, but deserves his own workstation in the bar. Now he spends most of the time doing "paperwork" in the restaurant, in a separate room. He should be able to spend more time entertaining guests and sell. b) There is too much paperwork going on in the lobby and they should have more focus on serving guests. The first line people are great, friendly and this also includes the security guard and the cleaning staff is friendly and super-efficient.

Did not expect much from the price I paid. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel had exceeded expectations in many areas.
1. Excellent location. Very near BTS & MRT. You will also not get stuck in the notorious Sukhumvit traffic because it is located at Soi 16 where the hotel can be reached without having to go through the main Sukhumvit road. Very easy to get to the airport. Just take the MRT and 1 station away, you are at the Makkasan station. From there, it takes only 21 mins to the airport and the total cost is only 51 Baht. 2. Excellent breakfast for a hotel of this size. The lady serving omelette, Miss Rose was very hospitable, friendly and attentive. Clover hotel is lucky to have a staff like her. 3. The sound proofing was very good. My room was facing the main road and there was no noise issue from passing vehicles. 4. The room is a tag small and dated compared to many other Bangkok hotels but is was well appointed. 5. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful.
This is not the cheapest hotel for what it is offering but I think it is money well spent as the price to value ratio is good.

I first stayed at Hotel Clover Asoke in December 2022 and felt so good about the experience that I rebooked for a week in January 2023. Thanks to Kal (Gae) in the booking office, this experience was totally professional and she showed great patience with my dithering over dates at one point..sorry Kal. I want to also mention that the front desk young men and women were some of the nicest and most helpful I have encountered in many years of traveling. And there was always the smiling face of the parking garage security man, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten.
As usual, the staff in the restaurant were always helpful, courteous, and demonstrated why Thailand is known as the "land of smiles", or something to that effect. So thanks to manager Annie and her crew for making my stay so memorable. The morning breakfast offerings were extensive and good quality and I was even able to reacquaint myself with baked beans, in Thailand, of all places. As a side note the bartender and other staff at the rooftop bar are great folks, play cool house and techno at reasonable levels and are amenable to playing requests when not too busy. Apparently some renovations to that area will happen soon so good luck with that Ms. Annie and I look forward to seeing the results at my next stay. Finally, I want to recognize those mostly unseen workers who magically transformed my messy bedroom into a welcoming suite every day. I hope to return to Bangkok soon so the Hotel Clover Asoke will be my first port of call.

I went through self isolation for Covid 19 in the Hotel Clover Asoke in Bangkok. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delivered oon time and the food was very good with a good selection of Thai and western food available.
I would recommend the Hotel Clover to anyone who is travelling to Thailand during the current pandemic.
The hotel is also paired up with Samitivej hospital which is one of the best hospitals in Bangkok. Temperature readings are taken twice a day and submitted via the Coste Application so that they can monitor body temperature twice a day. During isolation they also provide three PCR tests as part of the package.
Very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in this nice ASQ hotel because of our entering to Thailand and had to undergo the required quarantine for 15 days. Staff was very helpful and kind, food was delivered to our rooms and was very tasty, we had the choice of different meals a week in advance. I have to emphasize a good deversity of choice and a nice selection of food which arrived pre packed a the front of our door. Nice spacy and clean rooms. Medical examination were very well organized. Overall a good choice for staying if you have to quarantine.
