I stay for three nights in September and is ideal for budget accomadation. Its two minutes walk from kho san road and next to lots of bars and restaurants. Room was adequate size and very clean, staff were also very helpful. Would stay here again.

This hotel is located near that famous street a ten min walk through the temple, quiet far from everything else tho, it is close to the street market to the left side. The rooms were good, clean and air con, always providing water. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms here are cheap and the rooms show a distinct lack of maintenance; leaking taps, peeling paint and lifting lino. The mattress we had was like concrete, which some folk like. The staff were friendly but missing most of the time - the front desk was vacant more often than not. This hotel is on a side street that...

I stayed in erawan house for 5 days and I really enjoyed my stay over there. The area around the hotel is really vivid but he hotel offers a really good relaxing place. You can only a internet connection in the halway but it was nice because at every level of the hotel there were some chairs and ash trays....

Small double bedroom really fine for one person. A bit stuffy as the air conditioning was not the most efficient. The staff are very friendly but i could not stay for more than one night for the noise from a local bar which eventually finished at 12.30pm which isn't bad for Bangkok.

My friends and I was doubt for this hotel because we thought it close to smelly river, but its not. But since we didn't see another nice budget hotel nearby, we still choose Erawan House. First time arrived i already like this place. Located at small alley and behind hotel there's always selling stuff and food, night and day. Good...

Perfect location, 5-10 min walk to Khoa San.. So quiet enough to sleep at night but not too far away from the party's/market etc! The staff behind the desk were very polite and helpful... However the girl at the information desk was about as much use as a chocolate fire guard!! Would recommended this place to all travelling Bangkok!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
