Our family stayed at the hotel for nearly a month on and off over Christmas/New Year this year. The room was comfortable, international breakfast buffet is not to be missed. The best we have ever had. The staff at the Cuisine Unplugged restaurant is very accommodative and friendly. One of the waitresses, Nikki, took very good care of our family especially my 5 year old son. Overall, we had a great experience and would return when we come back to Bangkok again.
firstly, during check in, the receptionist informed me that despite me cancelling my old booking (before making new one) my card was still charged. That originally, they said that my booking is non-refundable, and after some explanation and showing the proof of my booking through accor, their solution is to email the hotel, which is abit time consuming on my end as i have cancelled the booking which has free cancellation terms ; ie free cancellation upto 3 days before arrival, i arrived at 12th of April and I cancelled on the 31st of March which is 12days prior to my arrival). And until the time of writing this review, i have yet to receive the refund of that old booking. Secondly, as the bed in our room which was advertised as "king bed", was actually just queen bed, thus we booked another room) using my accor member first for the first few nights. For this matter we didnt complain as we know that some hotels do this. However, as my partner also wanted to use his stay plus, he used his accor member and that we decide to extend for another 2 nights (he booked through accor app in which one night by using stayplus and another night by paying), but the hotel said that as we didnt confirm with the hotel regarding using the stay night we have to pay for both nights. However i got a call before going down to the reception, and they were asking about our rooms, and i have confirmed with him that i will be extending my room and he will be extending his room too in which i have said that each of us will use 1 stay plus each for the 1st extended night and the 2nd extended night by paying. This is clearly a mistake done by the hotel or a miscommunication on their part. Thirdly, as we passed through the hotel's restaurant a staff didnt greet us (we are asians) whereas when a westerner passed through beside us, the staff immediately greeted him. This is clearly a racist treatment. As a customer of Accorhotels group for many years, i find the standard of this particular hotel to be below the standard of the usual Accor brand hotels.…
simply this hotel is easily to reach everywhere in Bangkok . old Town . Riverside. airport link just around bts is also in walking distance. massage . food are also easily to be reached.. Therefore strongly say Yeeess
Since there was a test & go requirement for foreigner to enter Bangkok, I had two reservations, 1 for test and go and 3 nights for the normal stays. The check in for the test and go was smooth, room was clean and spacious. Food was excellent. However, for my 2nd reservation, when i was about to amend to 2 nights, the reception told me my test and go package yet paid. So i have to make payment before i cant amend. Funny thing is the pullman had sent confirmation to me before and a receipt it is fully paid. But then told me it was not paid, the second receptionist was quite rude and sounds like i was cheating. Finally i made a new payment for my test and go package which was deducted from my 3 night from second reservation. But so far, i donot receive any status point and night for my accor. I donot think hotel really welcome accor member (gold), nothing is special. Somehow i thinks The receptionists need much improvement with their language barried and attitude…
I had two reservations, even the stay is respective day, i had to book one night with touch and go program and three nights just normal stay which then i amended to two nights. For the first night touch and go, the reservation was prepaid and I received email from Pullman King Power that my reservation was failed and asked me to pay. But then i explained that it is a prepaid reservation and then Pullman sent me confirmation letter that they have received the payment. Everything was smooth during the checked-in. But then when i requested to amended my second reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights after my second nights, the receptionist told me that my touch and go payment was not success and i have to pay again which is they could not prove anything. Three receptionists handled this case but none could really explained it well to me, probably because of their limited English. the second receptionist, a lady which i forgot her name was quite rude. Sound like i were a cheater for her. It’s been very annoying experience. Until today i do not understand how they handle it, my Accor status only records 2 nights stay but their invoice is 3 nights. I paid additional 6000 baht during check out which not recorded on my Accor app.…
PULLMAN BANGKOK KING POWER, others Bangkok hotel in the opinion of ALL member friends. Members of ALL accor are known for Welcome Drinks and are known for their value!! So we went to CHECK-IN. The staff members explained their rights completely. PLATINUM members receive full Benefits, and reserve a Superior room, normally here will upgrade for 1 step, So I got an upgrade to a suite 🙂 with THB 1.050 per night on the 19th floor. In the room, there will be a free Mini Bar, which is 2 cans of soft drinks, but welcome drinks to everyone according to the number of people staying. which we come to exchange at THE JUNCTION, the additional privileges are Platinum members and up to receive refreshment privileges such as tea, coffee, hot, cold, soft drinks, fruit juices all day until 11 PM. FREE BREAKFAST PLATINUM (Book without breakfast) Saturday and Sunday open until 11:00 AM. Variety of breakfasts. Today, I have tried naan powder and vegetable curry as many people label medicine. LOUNGE is held on the 20th floor, starting from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. it's crowded with people but a variety of food and drinks menu. There are many guests. STAFF is busy walking but smiling very willing to serve. There is a WELCOME SET in the room 🙂 It's chocolate and fruit. TURNDOWN SERVICE at the night, it's a bit late, almost 10 pm. there is ice service and drinking water to add to the bed. Overall, for us, this round is flawless, impressive, and heartwarming at PULLMAN BANGKOK KING POWER because it's close to work, so 555+ is our first choice. Most of us will roam around this area, Mercure, Siam VIE, and here 🙂 Hopefully, that will be another option in mind. For the options in Bangkok for everyone.…
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Pullman. The food was delicious, the room was always impeccably clean, and the staff were truly so warm and welcoming. We’re most definitely staying at Pullman when we go back to Bangkok. They were also very helpful with arranging our RT-PCR tests for the flight.
The Front-Office Staffs were very professional, especially Mr. Wut , providing me very clear information. A room was very clean and tidy with city view, and hotel facilities were very useful. Foods and Beverage among Junction Bar, Executive Lounge, and Cuisine Unplugged were good quality. All things considered, my family and I will return to stay this hotel for our third time soon.
All was very sastified except breakfast quality!! I stayed on Mar 26, 2022. *Services here was .quite good. The staffs here were very attentive especially front team & club lounge. The Hk team arranged almost of all my requests. Khun Mini - loyalty manager asked my feedback regarding my stay when I was checking out. The only concern and very essential for me considering coming back to stay at this hotel is quality of brekfast. Pullman is premium hotel but quality and variety of brekfast is worst than bugget-mid scale hotel such as Ibis or Mercure. *The chicken/ pork suasage were tasteless , tiny , look cheap than street food. **Local food (thai) is only 2 things that included rice or noodle too which is not enough at all. At least it should be 4 things included rice or noodle. If hotel get my point and improve it , i will definately coming back. otherwise, i will stay away from this hotel.…
All the staff are well trained and provide their best service. The hotel room is quite small. There were a lot of guests at executive lounge and at breakfast, but all the hotel managed to provide enough food and drinks.
