When I booked this hotel for our one night stopover in Bangkok, I did not expect much for the price I paid. Was I wrong!!! The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and so very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a hotel shuttle taxi to and from the Suvarnabhumi airport every hour on the hour for a minimal charge. My three children loved it here as well. Will we stay here again? 100% yes!!
So long story short, I has stuck in Bangkok after been denined to board my flight out of the country. So after a few stressful hours I found a different hotel another long story short they couldnt help me with what I needed and they send me to the Golden Jade Suvarnbhumi. The starff are very helpful and understanding to customers. They helped me with the paper work I needed. Checked me and no problem. The room was spachesand comftibale. As well as clean. After a long day had a wonderful sleep in a comfitable bed. Checking out I asked for a lift to the airport. Again staff were very friendly asked me to wait 10 minits and I was off to the airport. Sent off with a good luck and safe travel from my driver. So I want to end this by saying a huge thankyou to all the staff at the Golden Jade who made me feel welcome. I am sure I will be seeing you all again soon.…
Book through Booking.com on 30th Sept to 1st Oct and the Hotel rating based on Booking.com is 7,9 which means very good. I upgraded my reservation which is included with round trip transport. Sent the message through the hotel and one of the staffs who replied the email (Boonsong) , kept on replying the message with all the uppercase letter (it seems like shouting), I didn’t get bother too much until I got the notification that my flight to Bangkok was rescheduled. I sent another message to the Hotel and then staff who replied the message made me furious because of the way she deliver the service. She kept on sending the message with all uppercase letter and told me as to wait for 20 minutes for the airport pick up! After all the back and forth email, finally she understood and get the point. As soon as I got my lugages, I went to the meeting point which was set and the driver asked me if I have the reservation or not since he was informed that the guest who supported to arrive is Male and Not Female. The driver called receptionist l, both of them were talking in Thai and the lady on the phone asked me if I had the reservation or not! I told her to check the reservation under my name and check my profile through Booking.com. There was not even a basic courtesy showed from the receptionist. On reception table, the chef just sit along with the receptionist lady (around 9:15PM) without bothering the guest and she revealed herself that she was the one who replied my message through Booking.com. Assigned the room on 2nd floor. Room was spacious, but the shower area was too narrow. Refrigerator too noisy in the whole night and there’s no topper on the bed which made the bed too hard. Positive point, they have massage chairs which available to use for the Hotel guests and the location really closed by to 7/11. …
Very convenient hotel near the airport (15 minutes) .. free shuttle service to and from the airport. Very nice staff . Nearby there is the possibility of walking among typical shops and street food !! Very good for a stopover. Recommended!!!
We have stayed at the Golden Jade Suvarnabhumi Hotel several times, most recently in February this year. Mostly because the hotel is very conveniently located to Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is only a few minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel also has a convenient transfer service to the airport. But the hotel itself is a relatively good and affordable offer. At some hotels in Thailand you are greeted with a reverent wai on arrival, and some places they make a wai every time one passes the reception. That does not happen here, but the bellboy is quickly in place on the outside and takes care of the luggage, check-in takes place quickly and efficiently and the reception staff are friendly and speak good English. You will normally also receive a glass of fresh juice from the hotel's restaurant The Emerald Kitchen. Previously, we had a Executive Suite. Mostly to ensure the location towards the back of the hotel and not towards the very busy road in the front. These rooms are very, and perhaps unnecessarily, large for a couple. This time we had a Superior Room, fortunately one towards the back of the hotel. Also these rooms are very spacious. There was some mold in the shower, but otherwise the room was nice and clean. The bed has rather hard mattresses, as often in Thailand. The room has a coffee maker, minibar, safe and in the bathroom you will find toothbrushes, shower cap, shampoo etc. They also have a large selection of TV channels. However, the room has rather poor lighting and seems dark at night and at night. The breakfast, which is served at The Emerald Kitchen, is plentiful and good with most things one may need. We also had dinner at The Emerald Kitchen restaurant. We haven't reacted at it in previous stays, but this time the meal seemed significantly overpriced. More than THB 1300 for a vegetable dish, a fried fish, two bowls of rice, a glass of red wine, a large beer and a bottle of water is well above what we are used to in Thailand. It is most similar to airport prices. It is quite possible that we will stay at this hotel at a later occasion, but then we will probably go out and eat at one of the many eateries nearby.…
Service staff were very nice. Breakfast had good variety. Location was great for airport, particularly as we were going to Koh Samui next day. Travel from airport can be a little more complex if person isn’t there from hotel, but shuttle back to airport is easy and every hour. Room is pretty basic but has what you need. Fridge was making a bit of a sound (like someone was playing with foot lock) but fine compared to loud music/people/road noise I’ve had at other places.
~ Hyvä perushotelli lähellä lentokenttää, sopiva parin yön vierailulle. Isot, puhtaat huoneet. Aamupala tosin alkaa vasta klo 6.30, joka on mielestäni melko myöhään lentokenttähotelliksi. Aamupala oli melko suppea, mutta hyvä. Hotellilla on oma lentokenttäkuljetus, 150 thb hintaan. Voisin majoittua uudelleenkin. :) ~ Nice hotel for a couple nights stay. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was quite compact and starts too late (6.30 am). We didn’t have time to eat breakfast because our fligth was early in the morning. Hotel has own transport to airport, it costs 150 thb. Could visit again. :)
Stayed one night in January 2020. Very close to Suvarnabhumi Airport and rooms were really clean. Rooms were big and wifi was fast. The receptionists were very friendly, professional. The only downside was the staff at breakfast - they asked my room number and when they couldn’t find mine in their list, they strongly denied me breakfast that I paid for the night before (THB150), without even checking. Talking about being judged stealing food in the morning! A little courtesy would have been nice.
Stayed for 1 night only,as very close to the hotel, room large and nice and clean, staff good and helpful, car was less thn 1km straight down the road small market nearby, only issue as breakfast everything was cold, would i stay again yes if i have an early flight
I was here during low season and I just want to say that the hotel is perfect for a stay. staff members are very friendly and so helpful, dining and breakfast were far perfect. I want to recommend others traveller to try. Cheap price, Excellence stay and nearby malls// local market is PERFECT!! also not to mention housekeeping are so nice and the shuttle driver was so kind helping me with the luggage too <3
