Took them a month to refund a cancelled booking and they deducted 20 per cent for 'bank fees' Excuse was being very busy with refunds, how long does it take to tap a few keys? Would not stay here again
Superb location at soi 11 specially for party lovers many bar and clubs surrounded Party street Clean and tidy Staff is Ava rage No Buffet now days only limited breakfast one meal and one drink available at The cofee club adjoining to this property
Good location, but, that is about it. Room is small and worn. Not the end of the world, but if ask for an extra blanket or pillow, they 'don't have any extras'. Asked for my email address. Strange request. Now I get all sorts of spam from them. (I know because I created a specific email because I was not sure if it was legit.) DO NOT USE YOUR REAL NAME. THEY WILL COME AFTER YOU PER THAI LAW!!
I ended up here due to the Test and Go program. I was collected at the airport , taken to the private hospital for the pcr test and delivered to the hotel in less than 2 hours. The hotel liaison person updated every few minutes what was happening. The allocated room itself was big with all the facilities needed for a night's stay. It had been cleaned and sanitized. The meals were delivered on time as i was told. Dinner was a thai rice dish with salad and a drink. Breakfast was an egg based dish. My results were relayed before the 12th hour but I stayed on four more hours before leaving at 1500. I do like the hotel and will come here when Test and Go is done away with due to the location.
We enjoyed a lovely few days at the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11. We booked the hotel for Our grown up children who flew into BKK via the Test & Go scheme, & we met them there (we live in Samui). The hotel was very organised & the staff were very pleasant & helpful. The kids flight arrived in at 1315, they were tested & transported to their hotel rooms where they quarantined until their results came back negative at 8pm. We checked in separately & it was seamless. Our room was on the 8th floor. It was a standard double, which was very clean & had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable & there was a choice of pillows. Our children had their quarantine food delivered to their bedrooms, including breakfast the next morning. We ate breakfast in the restaurant - so much choice. Really good experience & the staff were lovely & friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was well priced, comfortable & near bars & restaurants. A solid 10/10…
Tired and worn out with facilities and services way below IHG standards even for a Holiday Inn Express and hence way below expectations. Considering that for a few Dollars more more can stay in a proper hotel instead of a youth hostel atmosphere one should consider that option. My room looked dated and with stained sofa chair covers hardly acceptable under any circumstances. The TV apart from dangling wires offers over 30 channels but at least 10 show no programme and from the few remaining only few are in English language. The working desk corner is in total darkness after sunset leaving few options during the very expensive PCR test do not leave your room days one and five. What makes matters worth is the totally beyond any standards so called food dumped in front of your door during lock down. No choice offered and stone cold simply inedible. A Ripp Off in every aspect and with 3 costly PCR costly PCR tests over 7 days its no wonder that tourists stay away. Generally speaking your staff is not very courteous and friendly including in the Coffeeshop where a rather mediocre breakfast is being ‘served’ ..............All in all very disappointing until I moved to a hotel where I feel welcome Thai Style!…
Used the hotel during Feb 2022 for about 9 nights The rooms are very small, the cleaning service works only if you order, The front desk do not answer phones, maybe after a few tries But, breakfast is good GYM and pool closed As the hotel operates in AQ mode, I wouldn't use it unless I have too
Last Dec 15, 2021, I arrived in Bangkok via Test and Go program and I booked Holiday Inn Express Sukhumvit 11 in order to meet the Thailand Pass without the need to quarantine but first we must stay overnight at any of their ASQ designated hotels while waiting for our PCR results then we are free to go (currently as of this writing Thailand Pass is indefinitely suspended). I chose Holiday Inn Express because of its reasonable price at just 200 SGD++ including the PCR test and I've booked their hotels a few times in SG where I'm based. Since SG is part of countries allowed to secure Thailand Pass I took the chance so I could finally visit Thailand and travel after 2 years. To apply you must have a pre-booked ASQ hotel, vaccinated, flight reservations and take a PCR test 72 hrs before your flight. Surprisingly it was a smooth and convenient process when I arrived in Bangkok. First we will sit down in columns and each staff will check if our documents are ready. I suggest to print all your documents other than the electronic copies when traveling during the pandemic so you can avoid delays. Once your document is ready you will proceed to the Quarantine officers to validate your Thailand Pass QR code and PCR test. Then you will go next to the Immigration (there is not long lines now which I expected). Grab your luggage afterwards and from the baggage area is where you could purchase your lcoal Thai SIM card. When I saw Lisa's billboard up I am really in Thailand and the feeling is so surreal after 2 years I'm back!!!. I loved securing Thai SIM Cards because not only their cheap less than 500 baht but they offer unlimited data for several days. I purchased True Thailand which offers 7 days 4G unlimited data for just 299 Baht. Thailand is by a mile the best when it comes to unlimited data offers. Then because I was the last to alight the plane and my Panda stuff toy was left in the plane, which I have to ask the customer service near the baggage area if they can still find in the plane. They assisted and helped me find my Panda for about an hour which is truly admire. It was the fastest and truly a great customer service Subharnavumi airport has provided to me. Indded, a very Merry Christmas gift for me. Luckily the plane hasn't left and it was being cleaned when I reported to them. When I exited the customs area I went to look near Gate 10 as instructed by Holiday Inn to me on their e-mail. I couldn't find any signboard for the hotel which i expected because I'm already late a bit. I asked one lady and she assisted me to another staff who books guests for our hotel. She said earlier the line was so long and I'm lucky I'm alone in the van. It's a sigh of relief for me because my SQ 706 flight was so full I didn't eat in the plane at all. So she ushered me on the van which is so fabulous (I remember my VIP van in Da Nang). There is a glass window divider between the driver and the passengers and the van is plated with Gold interior which is quite elegant for a tourist like me - thumbs up for this!!! We went to Piyavate Hospital drive thru and they did my PCR test and then went straight to Holiday Inn for my check-in. It was already lunch and I'm the only one who checked in. I didn't go in the main lobby instead there is a desk outside near the parking lot. The staff went out to assist me and I took the service lift going to my room. Mind you this is a very smooth and comfortable process being alone driven on a huge VIP van, took drive thru PCR and made on my hotel just in time for lunch. I felt recharged after my stressful flight. I was assigned room 0819 and it was pretty huge. I got a Queen size bed, a flat TV with a couple of cable and local channels, a window sofa, lots of lamps, carpeted floor, fast WIFI, mini bar with complimentary water/coffee/tea, a desk with office seat, cabinet, safety lock, luggage compartment and a huge toilet and shower. My window view is the Sukhumvit skyline which is pretty unique and modern. Airconditioning is easy to control and the TV is easy to use. My bed is the best part of my room - a huge Queen size bed with a very soft and comfortable pillow and sheets. Right after I checked in and had my first yummy Thai lunch - Chicken fried rice with fruits and Sprite I took a hot shower and rested very well until dinner. I truly admire Thailand has provided this opportunity for us to travel again for those locked in their homes for 2 years and made the process very smooth and safe. Included in my package are the 3 meals provided and I still have 2 free. We can also order outside like Grab food which I did for my midnight snack - Pizza Company my all time favorite local Thai pizza chain and I ordered personal size Pepperoni pan pizza - crunchy, tender and tasty. For dinner, hotel served me Isan style pan fried chicken with rice and salad and a Schweppes tonic water. And for breakfast I was given Thai dry chicken noodles with dragon fruit. I had a very relaxing and long good night sleep and I woke up around 8 in the morning and love the sunshine that came thru my windows a very good and comforting effect. I still didn't have my results yet and the hotel hasn't called. So around 10 AM I called them and they said my results are back and it was negative. Not sure about the other ASQ hotels but if you will book here please be mindful of the results try to call them for updates since you won't receive any e-mails. I took my shower and they have shower gel and hand wash provided as well as a lot of clean towels. Just one thing I've noticed - the water sink in the shower is a bit clogged in this room so I have to wait a bit and stop the water to let it drain well. I packed my things and followed the instructions provided by the front desk where I took now the lift that heads to the main lobby. It was a relief to see the room service staff assisted me in carrying my heavy luggages as I entered the lift. I went to the front desk submitted by card and they gave me my negative PCR results. Afterward, I am free to roam around Thailand but will need to take one antigen test on my 6th or 7th day here (was still the process during that time before the Omicron outbreak). It was Xmas and I loved the Xmas tree o their lobby - very colorful and pretty They have a lounge and cafe as well and glad to see that there are a couple of customers out here feels like the normal days before. Overall I was very happy to have booked this hotel not just because of its reasonable price, central location, helpful staff, big/comfortable and clean rooms, and finally of course the delicious meals they served to me during my overnight quarantine stay. Thank you Thailand and Holiday Inn Express for keeping my stay relaxing, safe, and comfortable I will definitely come back to your hotel if I get a chance to visit Thailand again!!! Kapkunkap!!! Thank you very much!!!…
Bed was very comfortable. Room was older. Food in prc package tasted good but nothing great. Food in restaurant for breakfast was very good. Floor was taped down vinyl surprisingly. Not well maintained but overall good for the price. Bang bang burgers outside is great.
I am an IHG Platinum Elite Member and attempted to book this Hotel package on the IHG site for my partner but it was not available. Covid Test and Go could only be booked direct. In short - this is the most appalling Hotel Room we have ever experienced. Photos below. Definitely not up to IHG standard. We could not recommend. Cannot wait to get my partner out and go elsewhere. Totally unacceptable by any standards.
