When we arrived they had asked me to pay for the accommodation in full and upfront I had given them my debit card to pay and they had tried to do a pre-authorised transaction however the card did not allow for this so they tried it again with no luck. Eventually the third time after I had explained very clearly to the lady at the front desk that the card can not do what she is trying to do (does not understand English very well) we came right with a normal transaction. However now over 2 weeks has passed and the two declined pre-auth transactions have still not been released by them making a grand total of more then 6000 baht. Please assist me as this was on the 23rd of June!!! The rooms are also very basic and old for a 5 star hotel. There is no offer for someone to assist with helping you with your bags neither for check in nor check out. No explanation is made with regards to when breakfast is nor did i even get informed where the pool was. Honestly just a bad experience for the price they ask you can get a far better hotel in almost anywhere in Bangkok. We have called, we have emailed, we have done everything possible and they still have not gotten back to us. This is ridiculous.…
The worst experience ever with this Accor group. 1) check in was terrible mess 2) AMEX not accepted 3) middle of the night, disturbance by hotel staff escorting a lady to my room 4) power failure (twice) 5) room cleanliness 6) stays not credited - no records at all on Accor group membership
I lucked out when I decided to spend a month in Thailand, and managed to book the Pullman Grande Sukhumvit during a deeply discounted reopening promotion. I do not think I would have considered it worth the current rate, but I got what I paid for. The hotel has some work to do in getting it up to Pullman standards and modernizing the facilities. The timing of my stay was during the "surge" of tourists returning to Thailand, and it was obvious the hotel was understaffed, causing issues. I hope that is resolved very soon for future guests. The good: Nice breakfast selection and convenient location. Room for improvement: Check-in experience (one of my stays there were no rooms ready at 5PM, despite completing Accor's online check-in stating my arrival time, even as a Diamond member), state of the rooms and property (does not feel five-star anymore, especially with what newer four star properties offer in Bangkok) and upholding Accor/Pullman standards (not the cleanest rooms, lacked basic toiletries/amenities).…
this was our 1st family overseas trip,i arrange the trip in april - as accor platinum - pullman SUK is my1 st choice to stay in BKK cause we have nice & good experience during 3x stay with them ibefore the pandemic Very surprise when i saw the room rate ( THB 1080 ) althought other accor in BKK were also quite llower their room rate compare to 2019 i decided to make the reservation for 2 room after the hotel confirm the execitive lounge wil be open in june. a week before the trip-i checked the review and find some 1star review from platinum member , then decided to change my booking to stay 4 nite at the end of my trip. we stayedin bonvoy's hotel kn siam square -on 3rd day i visit Pullman SUK to check all the scary complain to find out thing are getting better by far. during my stay -everythig are OK by my standard , exceptthe executive louge condition whichnot fully function ( no front office stand by in 24th to handle check in /out and help with some problem - the food and drinks are limited , not even serve variety of tea ) but for THB 1080 - that were super good deal (the room rate now back almost THB 3000 ) the breakfast was super good on 2nd FL ,they serve young coconut and fresh juice made in front of you during the bfast i met Enrico the dury manager and he is very helpfull , the front office manager khun Thanakorn is very friendly and help handling my platinum benefit request during check in. the hotel location is superb as it just next to both MRT & BTS station + terminal 21 mall …
The website states a 5-star hotel, but the service was probably less than 3 stars. I checked in at 3.30 pm and didn't get the room until 5 pm. The staff handed me two welcome drink vouchers as an Accor member and waited at the coffee shop for almost an hour then I got my room (not as long as others experienced). No information about facilities nor privilege benefits was mentioned during the check-in process.
Hotel with a good location near Asoke in central Bangkok. Near Terminal 21, Asoke BTS station, Soi Cowboy and more. This is a large hotel with many floors and rooms. The hotel have some great views. Very friendly staff. Executive lounge. One of the best breakfast I see this year in Bangkok. But the hotel is not new and woulnd't be wasted to a refurbishing. But even with a lot of dark wood the roomis bright. Will I stay there again? Only if the price is very good, since so many other good Accor hotels in Bangkok.
Sink was not ready for use. Water cannot be released. However, in Covid situation, we didn’t want any other to get into our room to fix it. We thought that before delivery room to customers, it should be checked on every facilities.
Before going to stay at this hotel I read that there had been many issues concerning check in. To be honest I checked in in no time! Staff was really friendly and after some formalities I could go to my room in less than 3 minutes. But why just 3*? I was lucky that I had a great roomrate and that I was upgraded to executive floor, but if you pay for a 5star hotel then you expect 5stars. The rooms are dated, having "old odeur-smell", amenities are really minimum, just 1 small shower gell, 1 small handsoap and 1 small shampoo, just some instant coffee instead of what you could expect (coffee capsules). Swimming area not inviting at all, very small area and not enough loungers. There supposed to be a kind of water fall but nothing worked, no jacuzzi things at swimming pool. The good thing, it's really good situated near Asoke. Staff is really friendly. …
The room is quite old, the items such as shampoo and shower gel are not consistent between the rooms and the quality is only 3 star hotel. The swimming pool is small and has no nice view. The hotel takes a long time to respond to emails. The staff is friendly; location near Asoke BTS.
I have such mixed feeling about this hotel. The rooms are luxurious and clean, and the location is good. However, my air conditioning thermostat doesn't work, so I have to manually turn it on and off. I had them look at it and they just said "fixed". But it wasn't. There are also service lapses; maybe it's because they have knew staff and they'll figure it out. The most annoying thing is that they do NOT post points from the stay. I always have to email customer service, and then it takes a month to get it fixed.
