Stayed here before, good location close to BTS Asoke, five minutes to Terminal 21 shopping mall. Great rooms with views Didn't eat but did take the free tea's on offer throughout the day. No where to sunbathe BUT take a walk outside hotel, exit and walk left and 50yds up is a bridge, cross the bridge and a beautiful park....

Stayed in the Maduzi hotel for 3 nights. I love it. Everything about the room is amazing. Very spacious, comfy bed, jacuzzi, make-up area, separated space to put my luggage. All in very good condition. Wifi works well. Very helpful staff. The location is great too with 5 mins walk to T21 or Asok station or the MRT. No hesitation...

I stayed in this hotel for one night only but it was a gorgeous place to stay, with lovely staff and a welcome drink at the bar (much needed after a long drive from the ferry!). The room was beautiful with a huge jacuzzi bath to relax in. Would recommend this as a clean, friendly, boutique hotel to explore Bangkok.

When we arrived, my boyfriend wasn't very enthused that there isn't a pool or a spa. The concierge was not terribly helpful due to the language barrier. But after these few disappointments, and after a day in the madness that is Bangkok (smog, the worst traffic ever) we couldn't wait to get back to Maduzi. Its quiet and orderly, clean...

We were pointed towards 'small luxury hotels of the world' and found this little charmer. By comparison to a lot of the other hotels on the site, it was relatively inexpensive at just under £100 for the night. The welcome was lovely, a genuine welcome drink from a selection (including alcohol - yay) and a strict rule of no tipping....

This was our final stop in BKK before heading home and stumbled across a deal on Agoda for $146 Australian in their classic room. We were blown away with the quality of the hotel and service. From the outside it's pretty underwhelming behind a concrete fence, but you are immediately welcomed by calm, restrained Japanese styling once you step into...

This is a beautiful place, hidden next to the Exchange Tower. The location is quite convenient with walking distance to nearby shopping mall and the train station. We were greeted by friendly and staff members with an attitude of ever wanting to help, so the check in process was easy. The rooms were big and great. Extremely large bed and...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
