After extensive online searching, I came across this boutique hotel and booked it on strength of all the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Even before travelling to Thailand, every question I had was answered promptly and accurately, with good advice tossed in for good measure. If planning a stay here ask for directions and you will be sent a... More

I have stayed here before, nice friendly place, comofrtable rooms, breakfast ok, little hard to find but close to sky train. Staff very nice. I think the price went up as I paid 1250 baht and before I thought it as just about 1000 but never the less it is a good place to stay.

Although I'm a newby to writing reviews on this site I have spent over 30 years travelliing in over 30 countries on business and sampling mostly 3,4 and sometimes 5 star hotels. So I started to become quite concerned when my taxi turned off the main highway into a nondescript alley with shuttered buildings either side. However, the Inn was... More

Baan Sukhumvit Inn Soi 20 is a great place to stay for anyone who wants to be downtown. The place is very clean. The English breakfast is a great way of starting the day. The staff are friendly, and Kevin - the manager - does a superb job. He is very helpful and can provide some useful tips for getting... More

Stayed already a couple of times at Baan Sukhumvit, and will definitely stay there a couple of times more! The rooms are very, very clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and the location is also great with 5 min walking distance to Asoke skytrain station. Just a perfect place to stay!

Small, clean hotel, friendly staff - a bit away from the main tourist attractions, but in a nice (but busy) area, nonetheless. Rooms are a good size with comfy bed and spotless ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is good (and healthy) and you could sit there all morning drinking the fabulous coffee in the air-con. The owner has lived here for years... More

We spent two nights at Baan Sukhumvit's Soi 20 location in mid-December 2010. We stayed in a very nice room on the third floor with a king sized bed and large, clean bathroom. The staff were incredibly accomodating. They provided logistical advice and stored two of our bags for ten days while we visited other portions of Thailand. They also... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
