We love you too !! I liked this part.. "He can help book things and recommend the sights and visits that many other places would not. HE DOES NOT GET COMMISSION FROM TRAVEL COMPANIES so you can be assured the advice is genuine." If we were like most other accommodation then we would only tell you about the things that...

Best hostel to stay at in Bangkok if you're a solo traveller.. they're incredibly helpful with getting to them, from them, going out, kept really clean, great location (not near Ko San Road but a meter cab is about 80 - 100 baht - fine if you're splitting with others).. during the day can take the river boat.. Will definitely...

This place is incredible to discover Bangkok. Far from the historic center but close to the modern art of the city (and its different public transportation). The owner is better than any travel guide and gives you accurate and first hand hints about the country. Moreover, its got several services really handy for backpackers: free wifi, laundry, free package storing...

I stayed at Soi 1 on my first trip to Thailand. I can't say the place was too terribly memorable but it definitely got the job done; very easy to get to via cab from the airport and close to the BTS. I was very pleased with the management though; I awoke one night at 3 AM to find the...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
