We spent 4 nights here and were pleasantly surprised with this little hidden hotel. The location is good, close to transport and shops, although you are really experiencing living amongst the neighbors. Breakfast included was pretty basic but good enough for a kick start to...More

This is an older hotel that is well maintained. We were a bit concerned about the area when we arrived late in the evening. We have learned that the area is ok. The service combined with the complimentary breakfast made the stay great. Thanks

A lovely hotel to stay in while in Bangkok. The staff was very warm, friendly, caring and helpful. They provided information to plan our day and assisted us in arranging transport. The hotel is well-situated, close to transport (skytrain), markets & places of interest. This...More

I've stayed at 8-10 different hotels in Bangkok during two trips. This is by far the worst hotel I've encountered. The staff barely speaks english, the rooms (we booked "superior" - ha) are a horrible. The AC unit refused to go below 25 degrees for...More

Hi, I was wondering if I could ask about this hotel please. I'm also from the UK and will be travelling to Bangkok for 5 nights at the end of September with my mum, then going over to Phuket after that. I've seen some bad reviews, but equally some good and average reviews of the hotel. The common complaint seems to be the location of the hotel, being away from the main road and train station and being difficult for taxis to find, and also the lack of English proficiency with the staff. Some people have also complained the room was not clean, but only a minority. This is not so much a big issue for us as it's just a place to sleep and so long as the air con works and the room is clean, that's all that matters. I would like to ask about guest's experience as to the above points, especially about what tours/ attractions, bars or restaurants are nearby or whether the hotel will help to arrange tours for us? We don't want to spend too much on traveling to and from the hotel if it is far away from the attractions/ sights and if it is out of the way this could be an issue. Also, how far is it from the airport? We decided to get a cab to the hotel, but now after reading the reviews we are concerned about whether the cab driver will be able to find it?! Please let me know as soon as you can, or I may have to ask our travel agent to change to another hotel in a more central location - any recommendations on that point also would be helpful, thanks. Many thanks. Kind regards, Cindy
