This was one of the only places I could find in the area around Khao San Road that was offering private rooms at a budget rate. A great alternative to hostels if you're traveling as a couple and want your own room. The place was...More
Affordable, quiet, clean. green, A lovely place to stay in Banglamphu, close to the pier to take the boat on the HChao Praya, walking distance to the Royal Palace, Amulet Market, and most of BKK attractions including the Blues Bar and the Brown Sugar, for...More
The Lamphu House is a true oasis in the madness of the Khaosan Road area. Set in a quiet courtyard directly off Soi Rambuttri it's a bit of a reminder of how this area used to be before it got flooded with Europeans on 2...More
We stayed here for one night and booked a private room with double bed and ensuite bathroom. The room was nice and clean. Staff is friendly. The location is great, near Khao San road and Ram Buttri but in the room it is quiet.

Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
Lamphu house has everything you need, all i can say is its a good place to rest, it feels like home! Although its in the center but its away from noisy crowds!

Sure, there single rooms are 290 baht per night shared bathroom. They book up pretty quickly but the singles are the only rooms they don't allow you to reserve online so if you get to the reception just before 11am you should get the single.
There's a 500 baht refundable key deposit.
There's no wifi in the room but there's free wifi downstairs at the 24 hour reception.
It's clean and safe here and really well run. Hope this helps :))
