good location, easy to go around the city, near the market, temples. the room a bit small for the couple. just one enough. sometime heard the conversation on the next door clearly. For me just ok with the location.

I stay 1 night in this place before go to pattaya and back from pattaya to stay at this place for 2 nights. Overall its not a bad place to stay if you want cheap and low budget place. It's near from crowded spot at khao san road and near from street food or fast food like mcdonalds and kfc.

This place really is the worst. I was a little nervous about Thailand, Bangkok in particular. 21 year old female, travelling alone for the first time in Asia - can't blame me can you? Anyway, I was advised to book this place by STA?! So arrived after a long 2 days of travelling to find the most disgusting room ever...

I've seen some of the pictures that have been posted of this hotel. I was quiet surprised because both the twin room and single room I stayed in whilst backpacking was ok. You can't expect to pay little money and stay in a luxurious hotel. It's a budget hotel in a Great Location!! It's literally more or less on Khoa...

As a backpacking couple on a budget you still expect a certain quality. We had a private room that fit 5 of us... Me, my girlfriend and the 3 HUGE cockroaches in the bathroom! Disgusting! Also part of the window was smashed in i had to use my old tshirt to cover it and the bed was lumpier than my...

I've stayed at a few places in Khao San Rd and this place should be avoided. First up, the room I was in had a broken door, and the bathroom was gross. I've travelled through Southeast Asia and the mattress quality was the worst I've encountered too so it was poor sleep. The staff service was also terrible. When I...

We booked 3 nights. I visited 2 rooms before checking in. I cancelled. Very dirty with a heavy smell of cat pissing... Bed sheets and everything was dirty. No mosquito net (window broken so they can enter the room) Anyway the staff was ok to cancel our booking without charging us.

Where to start Booking.com are misleading. There pictures don't match the place at all. Blood stain wall, broken window, tissue ceiling, filthy wall/floor. Pictures show it all AVOID THIS PLACE. I was an 'actual guest' and the response I got from booking.com is shocking after complaining. I work in the hotel industry myself and this place is absolutely horrendous. I...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
