We had such an amazing time there. Rooms are soooooo cosy and clean. We loved the breakfast, best roty of the whole trip. The decoration is just amazing, takes you back on time. All services you need. Only if you book the taxi from the hotel, which is a nice man, dont take the extra trips he offers on floating...

This is a fantastic quirky hotel away from the craziness of central Bangkok. Don't expect a big hotel experience (it has wifi and aircon but no TV) but where else can you wake to birdsong? Use the river boats to get around (Thewes is pronounced Tay Way). Closest BTS is National Stadium (take a picture of the name in Thai...

Amazing place. Very clean/welcoming/really good food. Most original, cosy hotel i have ever stayed in. Offering great workshops throughout the week if you want to learn new skill or just take a great souvenir home. We tried soap making class, loved it. Thanks to everyone at Phranakorn -Nornlen for making our time in Bangkok so good :)

We've tried a few places in Bangkok but none felt so homey and yet so extraordinary as PN. The eclectic interior design with a mix of retro, thai and mix&match style is worth a trip alone. Once you get through the nondescript entrance you feel like Alice in wonderland; there's so much to discover. Our kids loved the place too,...

This is the perfect haven to come home to after spending your days walking around and sweating in Bangkok. It's cozy and relaxing, the food is amazing (especially the free breakfast), and above all, the staff is so warm and welcoming and ready to help with anything. We checked out on our last day but weren't leaving Bangkok until the...

We stayed three times within four weeks in this wonderful and harmonic place. We've been pleased by the quite athmosphere, the great hospatility and the friendliness of the people working there. From booking to guest service, everthing was handled professional and smooth. The mantra 'Slow your life' meets the situation perfectly. Great place for families & travellers.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
