We really enjoyed our stay there! So much love in every detail :) Even our little boy (1 year) loved the place - there´s a cool playground with lots of toys and things to discover.

We miss you and your little baby! It was such a sweet time to see your baby playing & smiling in our playground. PN loves kids, and it was a right decision to make a cute playground in the garden and also inside for babies and kids. We hope your baby remember the time with us, and would be great...

How wonderful to receive your message! You made us smile :-) "Oasis" is one of the most beautiful word to describe PN, and we will keep on making every pieces of us as a peaceful oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Bangkok is a very interesting place with gorgeous temples&other historical places, and high traffic of the cars & people....

My girlfriend and I spent several days at Phranakorn Nornlen this summer while traveling through Thailand and we could not have been happier with the experience. Others have commented on the "oasis"-like character and this is absolutely right -- and after a day in bustling Bangkok there is nothing like coming home to a snack and a drink in an...

I found the Phra-Nakorn Norlen while searching for a boutique hotel in Bangkok. I went to the website and found that they prepare healthy organic meals, grow their own veggies, and use cosmetic products (i.e., soap, shampoo, tea, etc) made on location and free of harmful chemicals. The property looked beautiful. So I went ahead and booked us for our...

Thank you so much for your thoughtful message! It is nice to know that you enjoyed our transport service from the airport as it is one of the most difficult things when you are in foreign country. PN recommend our transfer department since we have been in team for a long time, and we know they are reliable and friendly....

We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed the style and location of the hotel. It is tucked away in an old neighborhood and very near the river (good access to river boats). The hotel is funky and creative, has good food, a nice staff, and a great atmosphere. I love that the hotel is environmentally responsible and...

First of all, we appreciate your honest feeling about the bed as we have had the same opinion from other guests. Our first concept was to provide guests some healthy beds (as referred to some guest comments they are actually not that hard ).We will definitely improve this by adding some extra soft mattress and pillows for your sweet dreams....

We loved our stay over here. Unlike any other hotel we've stayed at, this is more like a local guesthouse where each bedroom is a unique work of art, with paintings and unusual retro objects. Excellent wi-fi and great organic vegetarian breakfast. We absolutely loved the surrounding area - old Bangkok with great fruit and "wet" markets nearby and walking...

Your satisfaction ( and a happy memory) means a lot to us :) As mentioned 'experience' is what a traveler needs in a journey, of course there are types of experiences such as luxury, budget, adventurous or authentic. Our family room is 3600THB for 4 people including breakfasts, workshops (cooking, soap making & sewing), free food coupon from the cafe...

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights at the tail end of our trip. We were just back from the islands, so this was a great little hideaway to come back to Bangkok to. It had a bit more of the feel of the islands than other hotels. It is a lovely old building, decorated with a vintage...

I stayed here for one night during August on a quick visit to Bangkok with my partner. I was skeptical at first, as I knew nothing about the city and I thought for the price we'd get what we paid for. How wrong I was. The artwork in the small hotel is lovely and I loved the small dining area....

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
