We stayed at Phranakorn Nornlen twice, for a few days in December and again in January. We really enjoyed our stays in this eclectic hotel where hand-painted murals decorate most walls and the ambiance is peaceful and relaxed. Both of our rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, although no TV (if you're into that - we're not). The... More

My husband and I just stayed at the PN for three nights. It was A-MAZ-ING!!! From the welcome drink and cool towel when we checked in, to the exceptionally amazing breakfasts, internet access, smoothies and food....everything was just quirky enough to be fun, comfortable enough to be worth it and a sanctuary in a crazy city. We had to leave... More

I found the hotel to be clean, very comfortable and had a funky personality of its own. THe staff were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to help me with all my requests. It was in close proximity to everything I wanted to do in Bangkok. I have already recomended this hotel to all the travelers I met... More

This hotel is a gem. It is absolutely unusual, untypical, non-conformist. I highly recommend it for travellers that want to experience something different from the globalized hotel design and hotel standards of chain hotels and their likes. The staff is always friendly and pleasing, though some more structure / organization would do good. Very good food - small choice, but... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our Thailand trip. We were planning on staying 3 nights, but since we were flying stand by, we arrived in Bangkok a day late. We assumed we would be charged for the 3 nights we originally reserved, but surprisingly they were nice enough to only charge for... More

It's a true fairy tale, from the lobby to your room, staff is wonderful, always friendly and eager to help. The price is justified, free water everyday, lovely bathrooms and beautiful rooms, tai breakfast offers change every morning, although I'd suggest to offer a more variety in the occidental breakfast. Very nice roof terrace with a view on a huge... More

We were recommende this wonderful hotel from our friend and we must say that the hotel met all our expectations! The atmosphere is just so relaxed, a quiet and spacious haven in a chaotic and noisy city- we could really breathe here, and at once felt at home. Excellent massage offered, great tours with the wonderful guide Tukta, and amazing... More

We've just recently returned from a two night stay in Phra-Nakorn Norn-Len Hotel. This hotel is a lovely calm oasis, the garden area is beautiful and the organic breakfasts, dinner and smoothies were absolutely delicious! Our room was lovely and perfect for what we needed - this hotel is really quirky and full of character, the staff went out of... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
