The most unplesent hotel experience in Thailand ever. The manager, and staff were rude and arrogant. The receptionist lost my key in the reception, and when we tried to view the videorecordings of the reception area the film suddenly froze. The took my deposit, and refused to aknowledge any responsibility. They gave me an extra key but there was no...

This is the worst place to stay in all of Bangkok. Worst service I have ever received. I am travling with 2 other friends. After they showed us a nice clean room we went down to pay for ours. All of us got our own room for 550 we threw our bags in the rooms witch smelled like cigs... Then...

What I liked about this hotel was the location, which is at the corner of Khao Sarn Rd. It’s situated away from the bedlam starting from Soi Rambutree onwards. It’s not so much of a guest house, but more like a budget, no frills hotel . Clean and sparsely furnished, which is pretty normal for hotels in the area.AC wasn’t...

I stayed for 5 nights, had no problem with staff or sleeping, they were quite nice. I didn't have any issues with my property, but I always leave the do not disturb sign on my door and take anything of value with me.

I just came back yesterday from Bangkok and the first thing I wanted to do was to review this hotel. We've been tipped by friends to stay on that street while in Bangkok because it's 5 minutes from Khao San Road without the hustle and bustle. Well that part is true. If you like to sleep at night this is...

Let me tell you I have stayed in this hotel many times for a total of over 50 or more days. There are a couple things to know: I never had anything stolen but then again i never leave anything of value in any hotel. The staff is very friendly and the service is ok they pretty much know what I...

I used to stay at Four Sons INN everytime I was in the Bangkok area because of its excellent location, cleanliness, and price. On my last time around, I didnt used a safety deposit because I had stayed there more than 5 times and 400 dollars was stolen. When I reported it they claimed no responsibility and laughed at me...

Four Sons is located in probably the best placed street in Bangkok, near enough to Khao San Rd to be convenient, very central, and yet far enough from Khao San Rd not to be just immersed in hippies and tourists. The restaurant of the hotel was also pretty ok, although in this same street you'll be able to eat just...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
