While there was a 3-bedroom suite to house our party of 7, it has only 2 bathrooms which meant lots of waiting time for all of us. The service was okay. Nothing to rave about. It is not near any of the shopping area, though the metro is a stone's throw away.

The reception staff were the most unfriendly of all that i have met. Slow and inefficient. Especially during check out they were taking so long to process my checking out. This is unfortunate as the reception staff are the first and the last people you meet in the hotel and they probably give the guests one of the biggest impressions...

It's perfect place to live, furnishing decor all the very best. Food excellent. METRO STATION 3 min walk, straight into MBK If travelling by air, take the meter taxi and ask him to take expressway, will cost you toll but will safe your life from the Bangkok harrowing traffic. Only drawback, nothing is near (basically Tourist area is far) Prathunam...

Stayed there for over 10 days in September and first thing I have to say is the hotel doesn't have the best location at all. Yes it is in fact near the Station but no taxi would want to drive you there.. as traffic is probably the worst in the area.. it would take you hours to drive few kilometers....

The location of the hotel is quite good and not far from the Express road to the airport. The hotel itself is quite average, especially the furniture in the rooms are quite "used" and dont look so fresh anymore. Breakfast was not very good, the pancakes I had were cold and overall it was not too appealing. The staff is...

First, I have stayed in the Ascott in the past when I travel to Bangkok I enjoyed my previous experience and thus when I start to look for a long term apartment, the Ascott is the first place I contact. For this stay, I took a 1 bedroom Premier. It will be the last time I book this particular room...

Ascot met all the needs of our family's (2 adult and two kids 6 & 4) recent four day stay in Bangkok. We had a spacious serviced 2 bedroom apartment with all the facilities you need. Great value for money. Staff were excellent and went out of the way to help us explore (pity the traffic wasn't as amiable). Our...

Operating as the services apartment, The Ascott gave warm hospitality from Thai staff. The room is spacious with Thai style decoration. Washing machine, fridge, utensils, dish washing liquid, etc. are available. The location is in the heart of Sathorn road. You can just move in with your luggage.

It is our first time staying at Ascott and I'm surprised how worth the money to stay at here. We got the Studio Premier but it was spacious enough for the both of us. The staffs may have said that no promises on the special requests, but upon checking in you will be getting what you requested. Service was great....

Had a great time and sleep at the hotel , my requests were provided beyond expectations. Service was amazing ! If only I could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy my room and amenities then it could have been better! But I will definitely go back ! And Ascott hotel is still my choice !

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
