I've been staying at the Dynasty Inn since 2002 totalling around 150 nights. For the price, location, service, the staff and all round value the Dynasty simply cannot be beaten. I stayed in a new superior room and have put up some pictures on Tripadvisor. Many of the rooms have been refurbished recently andva tailors shop has opened next door...

The hotel located middle of the best nightlife in bangkok. Cheapest in the area according to location. Room was good enough. Air con was a little noisy. Friendly staff. Can go to pattaya for 300 baht with hotel's shuttle if booked sister hotel in pattaya for 2 nights or more.

clean hotel, rather big rooms at least in the new wing, make sure to have one looking on the parking otherwise you will face a wall and almost no light, tube very close as well as all night life you might think of, but you won't hear any noise, not sure it's for family tough.

Stayed in one of the new rooms. Perfect location. Right in the heart of soi 4 bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Not the best hotel in the World but location and price make it all worthwhile. Great for single travellers. Go for it!.

Dynasty inn is located right next to some of the best nightlife in Bangkok. Nana Plaza. Surrounded by great bars for meeting people. A place to stay if you are travelling alone as I do. Lots of great eating places. Two minuet walk to sky train. The hotel has undergone major surgery and now has some lovely new rooms to...

This was the perfect place to end a quick lad's jaunt round south East Asia. Perfect location for the nightlife of Bangkok and the staff were quite helpful, arranging a trip for me and my mates to go go karting with some other guys we meet at the hotel. Yes, it's not the nicest hotel in the world but it's...

For a lot of people, the good thing about The Dynasty Inn is it's location right next to Nana Plaza. If you've been out to Nana and next somewhere to stay (on your own or otherwise), it's really handy. Having said that, we've also stayed there as a family, and there's no conflict of interest with the two types of...

The Dynasty Inn is my favourite Hotel since 29 years. All rooms are very quiet, well maintenanced all over the years, and clean and nice. The room rates are reasonable (THB 1,500 - 2,000) and the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the heart of Bkk in the middle of bars, restaurants, shopping malls and...

The Dynasty Inn is located near Nana Plaza, a very active area with many shops, night clubs, and several luxury hotels nearby. It's a relatively small establishment, but very well run with a polite and attentive staff. The rooms aren't large, but are well equipped and maintained. Air conditioning was very adequate, and all other appliances worked well. There is...

I regularly travel to Bangkok and normally stay at the Dynasty Grande Soi 6 Sukhumvit. This trip the DG was unavailable and so I opted for the Dynasty Inn on Soi 4. This is an older hotel in the middle of the 'girly bar' area of Soi 4, with a front bar area that looks onto the street and rear...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
