This is a hotel that is very dirty. Carpets were filthy and stained. Bathroom was full of mold. Couldn't wait to leave. When asked to see a renovated room was told they were unavailable. The road into this place was under construction and was all broken up. Front desk personnel was rude. If you asked them for something and they...

This hotel obviously has been in use for a while. It was probably an apartment/residence facility when built, and then converted into a hotel. The rooms are APARTMENTS! The one we had was equipped with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and three baths! When the rooms are being used by only 1-2 people, they lock off one of the bedrooms....

I stayed on the 19th floor with a balcony and lovely views of the city. Got two free bottles of water a day and good service. tip the maid $1-2 dollars a night by putting it under your pillow. safe is in the room. It's not your standard USA breakfast buffet but everything was decent. Stayed 5 days and didn't...

We checked in at 1AM and out at 7AM traveling with Overseas Adventure Travel. We have no idea what they paid for the place but it was enormous. Our suite #2001 had 2 full sized bedrooms with full sized baths and one 1/2 bath near the front door. The living room and dining room were big enough to live in....

We stayed (2 adulds two kids 12, 15) at the Pantip serviced residences in Bangkok for 7 nights. It is ideally located near the Embassy belt just off the Sathorn Road, only 5/6 mins walk to Bangkok's finest Park, Lumpini. The hotel/suites is situated inside a walled and landscaped garden are very secure. Very suitable for family with young children....

The hotel is on a side street that is being resurfaced very slowly (one local suggested that it was slow because of a lack of pay off, or "coffee money" as it is called in neighboring countries). It is about a 5 minute walk to the Lumpini MRT subway station. There are a couple of restaurants very close (we ate...

In order to get to this facility, you must fight with the traffic. The narrow road which is called "Soi" is being resurfaced. There is no side walk for you to walk in and out of the soi. The cars are not going to slow down for you neither. As soon as you turn in to the complex, you have...

I booked 2 bedroom suite as was with family...the rooms & toilets were very spacious...and housekeeping was wonderful. The tariff of hotel is very reasonable. Excellent Gym & reasonable spa. Breakfast is continental & Thai and is OK... The problem is less english speaking staff. Food & wine is very expensive and of average quality...so better eat outside. Going out...

Very impressive apartment hotel. The rooms are huge (about 1200 sq feet) with full "dated" kitchen/living room/dining area. On upper floors the view is unbelievable. I was on the 19th floor facing the city. Gigantic balcony. The food was OK and room service quick. The pool area is very nice and super clean. The gym is bit run down but...

The suites are huge. All the facilities are good. But beware-construction makes it hard to get to right now. I stayed twice recently. Once I came by taxi-- the driver had trouble finding the hotel. The second time I came in a group by bus - the driver searched for 15 minutes to find a way to the hotel. Only...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
