We disappointed on this place , far from metro , can't get taxi and nothing on walking distance . Located on residential areas , so it's not good area for travellers . Property is old and staff can't speak English . Beware this location if you looking for night life and short visit

This is a good value cheap hotel for those on a budget. It's only 600THB a night so don't expect the Ritz, It's located near the On Nut BTS station and a large Tesco Lotus supermarket. Although it is quite difficult to locate down a warren of small streets. It's best to get a motorcycle taxi from the station, which...

.Looking at promotional pictures, this hotel seemed to be just what we needed for a week in Bangkok but, even the airport taxi driver couldn't find this place. I had booked two rooms, a double and a twin and they got that right. The rooms were old, tired and decrepit. Cracked floors, stained walls and a rusty refrigerator to name...

Rooms large and clean. Area around hotel not very good. Too far out of the city center. Have to take a taxi which is fairly pricy. Stay away from the tuktuks. They are very expensive. Aircon in the room barely cool the room. Service good.

Run down hotel that probably needed work doing to it 20 years ago. We found it a bit tricky to find at first. Not far from the On nut sky train which is the biggest plus for this hotel. Would i recommend? probably not.

I don't know where to start - very rude, lazy and incompetent staff, a management that doesn't care about customers or their complaints, bad food, excessively dirty rooms full of bugs (cockroaches, ants termites), very noisy, door-slamming neighbours: my advice is to stay away from this sham of a hotel as there way better options all over Bangkok.

The atmosphere in the building is gloomy. The bathroom was really dirty. I would not recommand to stay there. The one positive point is that the staff at the reception was helpful and nice and reliable: they booked a taxi for us in advance to take us at the airport at 3am and it was on schedule.

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
