It's been about twelve years since my last visit to Bangkok. I had always stayed in the Silom Road area in past as it seemed to be a handy location. The taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel as it wad tucked back from the street. I found the hotel to be clean and the staff quite friendly. The room...

Enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very central and a short walk to Silom and the Skytrain. The staff here is excellent and always smiling and ready to please. The swimming pool though small was in a garden environment and had a bar attached to it. The spa, though rather heavily priced, had an excellent masseur who gave me...

We stayed one night here after a night of what I called glamping in the jungle. So the AC, privacy and full bath were a huge welcome:) The reception area is nice and the front of house staff were very friendly. My first impression of the room was ehh. Our sheets had a few stains on them, the bed wasn't...

This hotel was generally fine with some nice touches but overall felt tired and has seen better days. It straddles a fine line between 'heritage' and 'in need of renovation'. Room was big with many amenities but not particularly comfortable with two options on the aircon, freezing and off. Breakfast was good but service not particularly friendly, especially compared to...

My stay at the Siam heritage suites could not have been better. The hotel is perfectly situated, being close to the sky train and other train and bus routes, close to the night markets and many restaurants and bars and also near major park and shopping districts. My room was large, bed was very comfortable and there was no outside...

Hotel older and room was very tired , bathroom ordinary, but that is ok. We anticipated that and booked for its good location. Booked 2 nights with breakfasts to see some of Bangkok before a night flight home. By booking the 2 nights it meant we could stay in the room until late evening. 1st night was ok although pillows...

Stayed here for one night. Good location, room was clean. Would recommend if wanting a decent, good value room in Bangkok. Room had a double bed and would be ideal for couple. En suite bathroom was fine too, with powerful shower. No complaints.

Stayed here and loved it . Not like those big commercial type hotels that treat you as a room number only . Very personal service , very nice , and great location . Would definitely stay again and would never contemplate staying anywhere else again when in Bangkok . Thanks to the staff :)

clean , comfortable hotel with a rooftop pool and big breakfast selection. MBK shopping centre 5 minutes by taxi- a 6 story centre with 1000;s shops selling everything imaginable. Visits to temples are all cash only and 500 baht (A$20) for king's palace. hotel airport transport expensive- take a taxi!

Stayed for 2 nights - expected better. Breakfast was pretty poor and if breakfast time is 6.30 to 10 you should get the same service and food no matter what time you go down during that range. I went later, juice had run out most of the food had run out and no hurry to replenish. Rooms are pretty old...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
