Rose Hotel is a well-priced Central Bangkok hotel. Rooms are small, but have recently had a refurbish so are clean, good shower/bath, and even have a 32inch Sony TV. Highlight is the exquisite pool, lowlight is the tired grubby atrium to the rooms. Bonus was the included free car parking right beside the hotel, and convenient location to the best...

First time I stayed here and it's very central for my work purpose (walking to the Chulalongkorn University just across the main road). Room is ok, internet too, but the insides are a bit gloomy. Nevertheless, a pool in central Bangkok with an adjacent restaurant (local architecture) is nice. Set-back a100 meters from the road, it's also somewhat quieter. There...

This is our second stay at the Rose and we booked because we loved it the last time 6 years ago. However the facilities seemed a little shabby this time and poorly maintained. We booked a suite this time and although the size was very good the furnishings were a bit old and tatty, the bed was a bit lumpy...

Stayed here several times over the last 13 years. The hotel continues to improve. Now has a pool and very nice restaurant. Not the highest rated but clean, hot water, great guest service and in a good position close to Pat Pong 2 and night market

I stayed here 6 years ago and again today. You get a decent room and breakfast for a fair price. A 2 minute walk to the night market and BKK shady late night if you are into that. The pool is awesome. Always clean and beautiful.

The hotels price, location and pool make this my go to hotel in Bangkok. I loooove the pool! The rooms are very nicely done with a few nice suites. We had great experiences with the staff at this hotel... Even when my bank made a mistake and took about $7000 (USD) out of my checking account because of an error...

Stayed here for the first few nights of our stay in BKK. Location is good, close to Patpong night bazaar, good restaurants close by. Staff were friendly. Pool is amazing. Ruen Thai restaurant is nice but well overpriced. On our last night the air con in our room started making weird noises and dropping ice out of it, went to...

This hotel is set back from the road and hidden from street view unless you pass the turning but it's well worth a the 30 meter detour. Very friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and a pleasant ambience. It also has a swimming pool which is unusual in such a central location. The Rose hotel also runs a restaurant, which provides...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
