We arrived in bkk in the middle of the night. This place had a room, we took it. Slept like a log. Checked out at 12 and they let you leave your bags. I would stay again for 1 night but probably not any longer. However, if you want somewhere you don't have to worry about getting lost after a...

If you enjoy not sleeping then this is the place for you. The music is so loud that it will keep you up all night long, the cleanliness of the hotel is non existent..if you are into the heavy aromas of urine and hot poop garbage then you will be in heaven here. This is the most disgusting hotel I've...

Stayed here for 3 nights with 3 friends and didn't have any major problems apart from the key stopped working some times. It's right by the Khao San Road so if you enjoy the nightlife then you will enjoy your stay here. Fresh rooms, just short on electrical outlets and hooks to hang wet things.

Stayed here for 1 night in Dec, 2014. No window in the room, very dirty, and a bleach/toxic smell in the room and hallways that you get a headache/dizziness if you stay to long in. They have a pool on the roof, but I didn't want to catch anything so didn't us it. Great Location though! will never stay here...

Me and three other friends stayed here and thought the location was perfect. Right at the heart of Koh San, clean, spacious rooms and pool. We saw a trip advisor comment that the pool was too cold? Hello? You're in Thailand, the weather is hot, especially in the city, so the cool pool was welcomed and relaxing. The drinks by...

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our trip and the end, it was on the main road of khao san road which is very lively - and noisy. It would definately suit a younger crowd, especially if you like to go out and party. The rooms were tidy but we had a lot of bugs in...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
