If you like to party. This is the place to be. The staff wasn't that friendly because they charged me for sheets and pillow cases and kept my deposit due to my ink from my new tattoo which was washable smh. The free breakfast nice and it's close to all types of major attractions of tourist interest! I may possibly...

I stayed at this place with my friends for 2 days, it's basic and an excellent location BUT don't be fooled by its "mild renovations" listed on it website!! This place is having a lot of work done which can be extremely noisy!! Fortunately I am a deep sleeper so this did not affect me but if noise bothers you...

We stayed here for one night. We were very surprised by how quiet it was considering its on the middle of khao San. Very nice room, except there was a strange window from the bedroom to the shower, some sort of voyeuristic thing?? Downside was that there was a lot of construction work going on, but otherwise it was great.

Hotel in the middle of Ko San Road, which is quite busy both day and night, but the rooms are actually quite. The rooms are also clean, and if it is your first time in Bangkok it´s a really good and interesting street to stay in. The people at the front desk deserve a gold medal for a great job...

Rudest staff ever and slowest service ever!! Vibrating room as music was so loud and really really basic room for the price we were paying! Good location on khao san road and breakfast included but would Probably go somewhere else next time!

Only down side to the hotel when we stayed is that there was construction work going on, and every morning they were sanding down the walls right next to our door! Not what you need after a mad night out in Bangkok. However apart from that, the room was spacious, wifi good, air con good, beds were comfy and huge!...

Staff was quite rude. Music at the pool was horrible, everybody was chilling and they were playing music like it was an all night rave. Asked them to change it and they just laughed at me. The pool is pretty decent but apart from that I wouldn't stay here again at all.

I booked the cheapest room as I only wanted a place to sleep without any fancy extras. At check in I was asked to upgrade my room for an additional 900 - 1200 Baht per night I declined and went to my room. When I walked in the window was shaking and you could feel the bed vibrate from the...

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy the night life of Koh san road, its literally on the strip. The rooftop pool is nice and everyone is friendly and you will meet lots of different people, mainly travellers. We were put in one of the old rooms which was very basic but it had air...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
