We booked this hotel under the name Dang Derm in the parc however when we arrived it was actually called D&D Inn. We payed a bit more for a nice room. The room itself was nicely decorated with a big bed. Not much room around the bed and no where to store our luggage. This wasn't a problem for us...

Great location in the heart of Koh San road. Unfortunately the whole place was going under construction- was a mission just to get to our room- pool was dirty. Air con was nice however and the reception is quite a nice retreat away from the craziness of koh san. Would not recommend and for the price there is certainly better...

Clean rooms, but not fresh and modern! Best price for its location! Not good for families with small babies. Don't take rooms facing Khao San road as they are loud parties on the street till 2 am. Perfect pool on the roof!

Basic but clean room, friendly staff and amazing location if you want the nightlife. You couldn't be more in the thick of it. Our room was towards the back of the hotel so we didn't have any noise but I can imagine if you have a room on the front it would be insanely noisy as nothing closes until 2am.

Our room had a window toward khao san road and it was so loud until 2 am that we couldn't get any sleep. I recommend not taking a room with a window. Otherwise the hotel was OK and the breakfast was good

The staff are happy to take your money but are rude and have no idea about customer service! The room I was in initially looked nice but the sheets were cheap and nasty, the shower was a trickle, the windows all have slats so you cant keep out the bugs and they dont even have mosi nets .... for the...

I stayed here with five other girls twice whilst travelling Thailand and it was just what we were looking for, cheap, clean, friendly staff and we felt safe. Yes it is loud but it's in the middle of Khaosan road so that is to be expected, didn't stop us sleeping after a night out 😊

I really enjoyed my time at the D&D Inn. It's a great place to begin your Bangkok adventure, as it's right in the heart of the party - on the Khao San Road. I wouldn't recommend this to older travellers who are in search of early nights, as the parties outside don't finish til 2 am (we had a street...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
