Nice find for a quiet sit down and fresh coconut juice half way through a sightseeing walk. On the riverside and quite peaceful. Within a short walk of the grand palace. Wifi as well. Looks like an interesting budget place to stay.

One of the worst hotels i've been to. Unfriendly, unhelpful manager, starting to insult the customers. Not willing to solve your problems. I have seldom experienced something like this. They don't deserve the money

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights. Great hotel, staff in both reception and cafe are pleasant, friendly and helpful. Great outdoor pool and is in a good location within walking distance of the grand palace. Although the hotel is busy I didn't find any problems with noise. Ate here a few times also and the food was good...

Great hotel over 5 floors with elevator. The rooms are spotlessly clean and are spacious and comfortable. There are safes in the room so you can leave your valuables without having to worry. Good cafe serving from 6.30am - 10pm, also serves beer, cocktails. 24 hour reception - essential if you have middle of the night arrival time. On the...

Great place to stay when you spend most of the time out sightseeing. Budget friendly rooms which were small and older but comfortable. Helpful staff. On site travel agency was convenient. On-site basic restaurant was good. Elevator available for persons who might need it. Great location, steps away from the best night scene areas for food, drinks and watching the...

This place is perfect for travelers on a budget. It is clean, the rooms are good (I had a room with AC and a hot shower), and the service is good. The location is perfect near a night's market and Khao San Road.

New Siam 11 was a wonderful place to stay in terms of position. Our room was inexpensive, clean and the airconditioning was great after a sticky day out and about. Considering the position it was very quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful accommodating our request for a late check out and arranging our airport transfer. Conveniently situated with...

Stayed here on the first and last day of a tour of south east Asia. Basic rooms but clean. Wi fi intermittent. Located near Khoa San road and a market street near by. Great pool. Used as a hub by the tour company we travelled with so a great place to meet people and swap stories. Would stay again

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
