Don't stay here! Why? Where should I start? First the hotel was dingy. The room was semi-clean meaning that the bed was made. Other than that, the bath leaked, mole was growing in the cracks, it had not been dusted in a while, the towels were old and the sheets on bed had holes. One morning there was no hot...

Only stayed for one night though wish it had been longer. We had a fantastic room, with a huge bathroom. It looked like the hotel had been recently renovated and looked spectacular. Paid $50 for the room which was a steal. IT is not located in the tourist district though with the costs of cabs so cheap, I would definately...

this is the worst i have stayed. Worst than a motel. the hotel staff cannot speak proper english and the room is terrible. the staff got attitude problem. the hotel got bad smell. broken bath room lock, no hot shower. poor management. will not stay that even given a suite!!!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, beautiful room, good breakfast and nice staff. Only $35 USD and nicer than hotels we paid $100 + for in other areas. Only draw back is location.

I have made several trips to Thailand, both business and holiday, and have stayed at the Grand Hotel Bangkok on two of those trips; it is the hotel of choice for my company when traveling there. It is definitely a cut above the average, not at the level of the Conrad, Peninsula or Oriental, but still quite a good hotel....
