We stayed several times at the Elegance Suites and it was nice and confortable and offered beautiful suites for a reasonable price, but it is closed. We went there last year and they worked in the hotel. No idea if it will open again. I had to put a dummy rating for this review to be accepted...

We stayed in the elegance suites in April 2010 and were pleased by the location, size and appearance of the rooms and the service! We loved the breakfast bar and the staff and enjoyed the cheap cocktails on the rooftop pool after hot days in the streets of Bangkok! The sky train is a stones throw away and so is...

We stayed at this hotel when it was under the name of Best Western Elegance Suites. It is a very nice hotel, good rooms and good and helpful staff. In fact Mc Donalds and some other department stores are close by. This was a trip we did in Dec 2007. Overall the Hotel was good.

The Elegance Suites was a pleasant surprise. If you see past the neighborhood, you will discover that this unique hotel is truly a treasure to behold. All rooms are suites with high quality furnishings. The rooftop pool is a marvel - a true oasis in the middle of an otherwise desolate area. The water is clean and fresh and service...

The first room we got here was horrible. After one night, they changed us to another room. It was not in a bad location, just was not up to standards. The floor mat for the bathroom was a rag, the room could have been cleaner, and it was rather dreary in our room. Very old, small tv. The pool was...

We had a lovely trip to Thailand and our last stop was Bangkok where in we had booked 2 nights at this hotel coz of the club mahindra affiliation. To start with the hotel was difficult to find which frustrated us. The location itself is not that great -- one you would prefer on a holiday. Worst came true when...

Situated in a bad neighborhood where you would get scared being mugged. RCI must be ashamed of having accredited this in their timeshare list. The room is very old and dirty. The linens feel used and the pillows have unwashed stains of saliva or some human yellowish fluid. It felt like a sleazy hotel good for one-night stands with prostitutes....

Location - not bad considering that it's 5 minutes away from the BTS station. Near enough to visit shopping hubs like Siam Paragon and MBK as well as the famed weekend market, Chaktuchak but there's nothing much to see at night. So, do all your stuff and just head back to sleep. Room - sheets are so old that it...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
