Warning: If you are arriving early morning, you may need to wait until 12pm. I know check-in time is 12pm but I stayed in other 4* hotels in Bangkok and was immediately offered a room. You can't count on it, but I've never had a problem with it. When I arrived at the hotel, they said I had to pay...

As everyone else has already mentioned, great place at great prices. Rooms are huge even by North American standards. Walk in closet with lots of shelves and hangers (literally walk in closet), huge bathroom with giant tub and 2 man shower, and larger counter for toiletries. The only awkward issue was where toilet is which is a bit cramped given...

Stayed a few nights while in transit and used as a base to see some of the Bangkok historical/tourist sights. What you see is what you get. Very clean, everything was in good shape. Professional staff. Location seems good for accessing transit etc. Exceptional value for the price we paid. Ate dinner in the attached restaurant because too tired to...

As first time visitors to Bangkok we weren't sure about best locations, sights etc. but we loved staying here. It's maybe not the most exciting street in the city but we loved bring able to walk around and explore. Patpong is just down the road, as is Lumpini park. Hotel is clean, shower is great and the beds are huge....

Booked through hotels.com since our usual hotel, neighbouring Hotel Narai was full. This hotel has a good location about halfway on Silom Road. It shares pool and a simple gym with Hotel Narai but is much more of a boutique hotel. Specifically it has much, much more tastefull communal areas, a more modern reception desk area. We had a standard...

We booked a Deluxe room for two nights and could easily have stayed longer. Our room was large and fully equipped with all we needed. The bathroom was excellent and large with shower and tub. This was our best hotel for the last weeks after 2 hotels in Singapore, one in Ubud, Bali and one in Kuta, Bali. Some cheaper...

This is a vey comfortable and quiet hotel in Silom. The room standard and the service was great. We booket through momondo.com and got a almost half the price of the ones listed in the hotel. The location is nice as you are in a area full of street-food places. It's a 100 BHT ride away to Khao San Road...

The hotel is decorated in a modern design style, the rooms are large and comfortable with daily cleaning and refreshing of towels and bed covers. The reception was polite and spoke good English. There is a restaurant but with so many local food choices in the area we did not give it a try.

We stayed 4 nights at the 222 and found the hotel to extremely good value, the room is large and the bed very comfy. We will certainly stay again on our return to Bangkok. We also had breakfast which was good. Tip .....turn right as you come out of the hotel and turn right again into the next road there's...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
