We stayed here for one night in the dorm, beds were average but pillows were brilliant!! Bathroom was clean but the only problem was there was never any toilet roll so come prepared. The iced mocha they serve from their coffee stall at the front is unreal!

Due to a combination of flight delay and incompetent taxi driver I arrived about two hours later than the expected and communicated 23:00, only to find that they had already occupied the room that I had paid in advance. I have a Thai SIM card so I was online basically from touchdown and they could easily have asked via email... More

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Little estra the owner's little boy is a sweetheart. Rooms are clean and huge. Aircon and fan works perfectly though they practice energy saving. Bathrooms can be improve. Wifi is fast.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with directions and other needs. The dorms were clean (co-ed), however, the air conditioning dripped constantly and hit one of the bunks. Luckily we noticed early and moved the bed ourselves and when asking the staff for assistance all they did was put a spare sheet on the floor beneath it. Our beds... More

the place is perfect for many aspects: location, rooms and service. If you're looking for something safe, clean, essential and cheap this is a great place to stay. There is every service you need and the best part is the perfect location, just 1 minute walking distance from Kaosan road

I'll start with the positives: to be so near Khao San Road the room was very quiet, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The not so good was the size of the room (we had a private double), the bed took up 80% of it and with our luggage there was little left, certainly not enough for a... More

Nice Hostel but not very sociable atmosphere. Staff was friendly and small breakfast was included in the price. Rooms are fine and have air conditioner. Beds are a bit uncomfortable though. Shower was not very clean. The hostel is located in the old town witch is a nice area but a bit far from the rest of the city and... More

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Location is also very good. My main concern when traveling is cleanliness, this place really exceeds expectations ! I really liked how bright and airy the rooms were. Really great value for money. I will definitely go back here if I am in Thailand again.

A friend and I stayed here for a couple of days. The location is great, it's clean, the staff are really friendly and knowledgable they were happy to answer any questions that we threw at them and made us feel very welcome! The food served was good too, would definitely recommend staying here and I'm sure we will return.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
