Was looking for a good thai dinner but I believe the chef was Chinese as no chilli and tasted more like Chinese food than thai. There was nothing wrong with food but as no one could speak English was hard to communicate hence service was not good. The woman sitting at the road getting people in was great, just went...

Normally I stay at the Holiday Inn across the street, but sometime I'll stay at Honey House 1 if I'm trying watch my money a little closer, the location is great for me, love this area, it's a little run down, but hey, for less that 1000 Baht a night what do you expect, the food good here, and the...

Location location location. That is my priority of staying in Sukhumvit. You can walk to the many restaurants, bars, massage parlours around there up till 3 in the morning. If you save two taxi trips a night of about 400Thb, then it is better not to stay further away for less. That is why I ditched The Mix Bangkok hotel...

Could do better to improve guests' experience. The room is not so clean and the air-conditioner is very smelly. The staff were friendly but they didn't do much to help me with the safe when it was locked and didn't work

I don't recommend for couples. This place is on soi 22 which is a popular destination for sex tourists many massage parlors with young skimpily clad women, including the entrance of the guesthouse. If I was a single guy looking for that type of thing it would have been perfect. I think it would be ok to bring female entertainment...

The Honey House Thai restaurant serves up some fantastic food. With lovely service and fantastic portions which are totally affordable! Love it. Don't go by the hotel reviews, try the restaurant. My daughter went crazy with the Satays and soups. Definitely coming back

To get to the room we had to pass through one of those "massage" places which embarrassed us. Room was bad ventilated and smelling weird that caused us some kind of nose allergy. Bed was clean but toilet not so much, there's no shampoo, no slippers, neither soap or tooth brush and paste.TV with all channels in Thai and bad...

We Had some noodles with "soy sauce" and a curry. Not cheap for this kind of value! Noodles had no taste except from dough. :/ Curry was ok but nothing special. And you can get better than this for quarter of the price. If there's something more around don't try honey house! Although the staff was very friendly!

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
