We stayed one night in this hotel. The staff offers a warm welcome, they are very kind and helpful, smiling, polite. Great people. The hotel is located at walking distance from Saphan Kwai station, or Chatuchak market for instance. Close from Mochit bus terminal also (around 50 thb taxi course). Our bedroom was large, clean, with a tasteful decoration, large bay window opening on trees. The place was very quiet on that Saturday night. There is a car park area. The breakfast was basic but correct and cheap (100thb). Good experience. Highly recommendable for a pleasant, comfortable and cheap stay in Bangkok
We found this hotel via Google Maps and contacted them via Messenger. The hotel is really nice and it is in walking distance from the market. We had a room to the backside overlooking a klong and a very nice Thai garden on the other side. Our room was quite spacious and had two small balconies. The bathroom was small but functional. The bed was a bit hard but we slept well. In the evening we ate at the restaurant on the top floor. The food was actually very good but we were the only ones there and the ambience and decor in the restaurant was not that nice. Staff both at check-in and in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. They did not offer breakfast. Probably because of Covid and too little guests. We went to the 7-11 nearby and picked up a couple of their ham and cheese toasts and that also worked fine for us. Chatuchak was a disappointment for us - maybe also because of Covid. Many stalls were closed and it was mainly t-shirts, shoes and trinkets.…
Welcoming and helpful staff who speaks some basic English. Very spacious room, everything was perfectly clean. We could leave our bags on arrival and departure. Hotel in a quiet and safe area. Ideally located if you wish to visit Chatuchak market (not really walking distance but easy to reach by a quick and cheap taxi drive) or go to Mochit station (idem: quick taxi).
Booked 2 nights; 1 before going Khaoyai and 1 after return. Did not regret the location as pur purpose was the chatuchak area for this trip. However, the hotel is so-so and as all reviews described here are accurate!! The toilets and bath area is seriously lack of hooks to hang your clothes, only one railing inside the shower area. Also for 3 adults per room is double the price of 2 separate rooms!! Do take note.
I like trying out different budget hotels in Bangkok and the Boutique Poo-Yai Ma did not disappoint. Located approx 10 minutes from the Mo Chit station on the BTS, this hotel is in a safe and quiet area. I probably would not walk from the BTS station with luggage, but it was the perfect place to go exploring Bangkok if in town for several days. The hotel was only 200 baht from Don Mueang airport and it cost me 300 baht to go to Suvarnabhumi airport via meter taxi. Upon check-in, the room was comfortable with nice views of Bangkok. 2 bottles of water were provided each day. I enjoyed Room 601 although the bathroom was a bit small and I wish there was better storage space. But what stood out to me the most was the great customer service. As I was checking out, I forgot I left some items in my room and the staff were kind enough to find it quickly and return it to me before I got inside my taxi. Take a moment to appreciate the hotel decor from the art work of political cartoonist Chai Rachwat - that made my stay more memorable as I learned new things about the culture/history of Thailand. Overall, this was one of the better budget hotels I found in Bangkok and I look forward to my return back to Boutique Poo-Yai Ma.…
This hotel locates 15 min walk from BTS Mochit station. It is suitable if you go to the weekend market. The room is wide and clean, I think you can have a comfortable stay. However, smoking is completely inhibited even at the balcony. The breakfast is simple, so please expect , but enough for me. Totally I recommend this hotel only for the tourists who go to the weekend market.
The room is very nice and clean. And it's quite a big room. The bed is a little hard than I expected. Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is ok. It will take awhile to walk to BTS. But only problem that we're not satisfied is one of the room in the same floor had some fighting in the middle of the night around 2 am. And it was woken us up. And they kept fighting for a while. I have to call to a reception 2 times to solve this loud noise. So it seems the room cannot keep out all the loud noise.
Booked here for 2 nights. So happy with the room. It is vwry spacious, very clean, modern and minimalist. Check in and check out are fast. All staff are very nice and friendly. Location is close/walking distance (about 10-15mins away) from BTS Mo Chit, Chatuchak Market, JJ Mall,Chatuchak Park. Perfect place to stay for a quiet stay in Bangkok and a few days of weekday/weekend shopping.
Rooms were relatively spacious with great decor, but the beds were extremely hard. Breakfast was adequate for small boutique hotel, but small dining room fills quickly and we had to wait a bit. Location is about a 10-15 minute walk to Chatuchack and about the same to the Saphan Kwai BTS station, though the street is small and often very busy, so not recommended for handicapped people. Hotel has a nice little Sushi restaurant, but you'll have to walk a little bit to find other restaurants. I'd definitely recommend the place, the staff was very friendly, but unless you desire being in close proximity to Chatuchak I think there are better options.
Staff at this little hotel are exceptional and the location to Chatuchak weekend market is excellent and this is why we chose it. It is also handy to the BTS skytrain to get you wherever you need to go. The Room was big and clean but the needs are very firm as we're the pillows. The breakfast was a limited repetitive choice but got us through the day. The Internet was extremely patchy at best. Arrange your own transport to the airport if required as we wanted to book but was advised no need and then waited 50 minutes for a taxi and nearly missed our plane.
