Great budget option with large, clean rooms and three adorable huskies hanging out on the first floor. A little ways away from the backpacker area but still central and near beautiful Lumphini park. Owner is very friendly.

The location of this place is great, right next to a few restaurants, some bars and Lumphini park is definitely worth a visit too, hire a pedalo on the lake, it's beautiful. This is very much a 'you get what you pay for' kind of place- we payed for the smallest double room and that's certainly what we got, it...

We went to this place because it was the cheapest to find in central Bangkok, so we didn’t expect much. We book the room online; before we arrived there the host was giving us a really good description to get to the house. its located in a quiet sidestreet where you could easily hang out in front of the building...

The rooms are basic and nothing...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We provide modest accommodation for guests with tight budget. Our main goal is - central location: it helps budget travelers saving on transportation a lot, what is such important in hard traffic of Bangkok. The room is situated in the main central district of Bangkok - Sathorn, close to subway station - it is just 9 minutes walking; direct toll ways from both of the airports ends close what makes possible to reach both airports by taxi without traffic; main train station Hua Lampong is just 3 stations by subway; bus terminals are easy to reach within 20 minutes by subway and sky train. Our price is competitive and definitely unique for the central area. For the price of dormitory - you will get a small studio (18 square meters) with everything you need for a comfort stay. ... more   less
