Booked test and go package which will soon be fazed out, but we had a good time, very efficient. The room rate was reasonable given its 5 stars. There were a few minor points, first, the sky bar was closed and no one mentioned this unless it was buried in the small print on booking.com which I didn't read - disappointed. Secondly, there is no swimming pool. The photos make it look like there is one, but it's about ankle deep and in and around the cabanas so not that great if you wanted a pool. Thirdly, the menu at the restaurant was very small, there was more options in the in-room dining menu which was strange! I hope the hotel can improve on these things post-covid. Needless to say, the bed was comfortable, the rooms are well equipped and most importantly, all the staff are smiling!…

We used to stay in the Centara Watergate Pavillion everytime when we are in Bangkok. The haose is clean, comfortable, perfect area for our business, well equiped and with a very friendly helpful and polite staff. Security measures in Covid-times let us feel save. anyway we'll be back.
I stayed at Centara Watergate Pavillion for 1 night as part of my Test & Go program while entering Thailand. The reservations team was quick and prompt in replying all emails regarding the required documents, and the process was much smoother and fast than expected thanks to their assistance. Everyone from the airport representative who met me at the airport, to the driver, and staff on arrival were all professional and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean with all the needed amenities, and the 1 meal included was served hot and tasty - a perfect pick me up after a long day of travelling. I'd like to give special thanks to K. Nicky and K. Champ from the front desk / reception team, who assisted me with all my enquiries, during my stay and even before checking out. They are a perfect example of why Thai hospitality is so well known worldwide. Both of them were friendly, kind and knowledgeable - able to provide information about the city and the process for Test & Go. I'd definitely return to the hotel just for them!…
I've wanted to travel to Thailand in April 2022. Due to entry into Thailand need to go through the Thai consular and apply for a Thailand Pass under the Test & Go scheme, you are required to book one of the SHA+ hotels approved by the embassy. Apparently there is much confusion and miscommunication going around this T&G scheme. Being a smart traveller, I only need to book one night stay at such a hotel for the first night while waiting for my RT/ PCR test result. Take note, it's not wise to just book the entire stay with what was offered on Agoda. That booking only is for hotel stay. Each hotel has its own pricing for the Test & Go package that includes pick up from airport, send to hospital to take PCR test and then to hotel to wait for the result. My bad experience stems from the miscommunication in the hotel reservation officer and supervisor. Reservation officer was precise and give me clear instructions to complete the booking, whereas the supervisor keeps asking questions that does not help in the application at all. Moreover I received the last rejection from the Thai consular after I've received the hotel's confirmation letter that the Test & Go is fully paid for. And it was the hotel reply to the consular that leads to the rejection. Do be careful and find out the full details before paying for it.…
