We stayed in a mix a dorm and the room is very spacious. I just don't like the smell when we first entered the room. I suggested they should put a dehumidifier to eliminate the smell. They provide free towel and blanket but the blanket seems like to be just a big bath towel as well.. The lobby is big... More

On my first night in Bangkok I had a large amount of money stolen from my wallet. I had very good reason to suspect it was taken by a local I met that night at a club. I arranged to have him meet me at the hostel the next day where unbeknownst to him the police were also waiting. This... More

Though there was an error in our booking, we changed from a private to a dorm with no problems. The showers were a delight after a day out in the heat and the main area was perfect to relax. Close to food markets and local transport.

We booked a private room for our final two days in Thailand. Every night there were a weird sound of something walking in the tubes (rats??). Overall the room was very clean, hostel has a nice vibe and friendly staff (they even allowed us to take a shower when we already checked out and were ready to catch our flight... More

We used Bangkok as our based for travelling around SE Asia for 4 months, and always used this hostel. Its incredibly comfortable, clean, good wifi and the staff are incredibly helpful. We stayed in other places before finding this one and I had the best sleep here (in the private rooms upstairs). Its ideally located for using the sky train... More

Nice place with nice staff,. A kitchen that you can use. Close to a forecourt street. Centre if Silom, almost everything you want to see around here is easy accessible by train boat or sub. Staff will help you with whatever you need.

I booked for one private double bed room via Booking.com and no payment was needed in advance. You pay when you check in and THB 100.00 for deposit of the key and it's refundable. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and look comfortable but the flat TV is not working. The WiFi connection is weak... More

Stayed there for 4 nights. Good location to catch up many things near by. Room is small but found all the basic needs and very neatly arranged. Bathroom also not bad. Lobby is decorated very well and small kitchen in the lobby to cook. Wifi also uninterrupted. Good for the backpackers and holiday makers. Will stay in my next visit.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
