Took about 15min to find despite a map location. Most hotels have signs. This does not. Unless u count a handwritten one. Worst night sleep ever. Noisy inside, noisy outside all night. Bed about as welcoming as a morgue slab. Since when does a 3 room conversion of a space between a restaurant and bar constitute a hotel? Checked out...

Last year, we visited this hotel... we had 7 people and stayed in family room. Really I and my friends loved it so much. Room was very big, cleaned and convenient. Staff were friendly. A lot of street foods or restaurants around there so you never feel hungry lol. Just 1 thing about location, it's quite far from BTS, in...

Outdated hotel, swimming pool needs renovation. The room was spacious, but the bathroom wasn't very clean and had a bad smell. The hotel is located quite far from BTS trainstation, too far to walk. On the other hand this is a quiet location, in the busy city of Bangkok! Plus: Fee shuttle service to BTS treinstation/ main road. But for...

We chose this hotel as it was located in Sukhumvit, a nice central location. However this hotel is quite far off the main road so requires a tuk tuk to take you to the main road (fair enough to XP they do provide this service). We booked to stay two nights and ended up only staying one. The potential of...

My family and i stayed there for two nights. It was well located, had a pool and a responsive reception but in our rooms, the mattresses weren't up to the mark. Overall, i'd say a 7/10. I changed hotels after the second night and the change of hotels helped.

We booked for one night, one room for five persons. When arrived there, the receptions no smile at us. The room standard and the bathroom not clean enough for us. The good things for this hotel, they have swimming pool and have shuttle service called tuk tuk until 08.00 pm. Wifi sometimes can be used, sometimes not working.

To put it bluntly....this place is a dump. We stayed two nights and these were the issues; 1. There air conditioner in the first room they issued to us was malfunctioning. It was extremely loud and there was no controller for it. They moved us to another room as a result. 2. The furniture is old and dilapidated. In fact...

I booked a junior suite and got a lard room! I was told theyVery old furnitures, no desk or chair, wall to wall closet space, 2 non-functioning (was told there are no suite other than the one I got); bathtub was dirty and not suitable for human use, the water heater very noisy and splashing water all over...I asked for...

As far as budget hotels go in Bangkok this is what it is. Not bad, quiet, clean, good location and satisfactory for the money you are paying. Staff are where the real value is here. Friendly, helpful and trustworthy, especially the Filipinos ladies on the front desk, who my daughter loved. Yes the pool has cracked tiles, but is still...

Not really a hotel it more like a long term condo let. They let out the 10nth floor. There is a free tuk tuk service to the end of soi 65 (not to Bts ekomai) although its a 5 min walk to BTS ekamai or the gateway shopping centre. The hotel asks for a 500 baht deposit on arrival and...

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.

“Dont be put off by the photograph of the green pool on the Tripadvisor website- presumably the photo was taken some while back and the pool ( belongs to the neighbours over the road ) has not been cleaned since so it is greener now than the photo - it has to be seen to be believed - looking at it could be a health hazard - The XP pool is fine !”
