After reading the previous reviews, I was convinced this hotel would be fantastic. It is not. It's not bad, by any stretch, however it's not as nice as other hotels where I have stayed before in Bangkok. Check in, while polite, was a bit confusing. I was offered a no charge upgrage to an executive room with 2 bedrooms, in...

We spent 2 nights at the Davis Hotel, as part of a larger group, and found it a vast improvement on the previous place we had stayd in last year (Amari Boulevard). Granted, the Amari is more convenient in its location (on Sukhumvit Soi 5 and 2 mins walk to the Skytrain) but other than that the Davis is better...

I stayed at the Davis and it was a real treat. The rooms are lovely ans spacious and so very clean! Breakfast was plentiful and the dinner buffet looked very nice, although we went next door to "Camp Davis"and had a Thai meal. Chocolate factory across the road is strange, had a try of one chocolate which cost 30Baht, it...

On our first trip to Thailand, we arranged our obligatory couple of nights in Bangkok to get over the jet lag before moving on to more interesting places. After arriving at the Davis Bangkok, we didn't want to leave. Once we saw our Junior Suite that we thought we would treat ourselves to, we were very impressed. It was the...

The hotel rooms are very traditionally decorated and the hotel has a nice mix of traditional thai and mordern interior. I liked my room and service in the hotel was good, Ordered room service one night but the food wasn't that great. Breakfast is good though and the spa is worth visiting.Camp Davis is an adjoining area next to the...

This hotel is fantastic. I've never experienced 5 star like this. I stayed here with my husband and another couple. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Executive Suite which was excellent value for money. My only regret it that we didn't have enough time here due to a delayed flight. I would return here to experience this hotel properly.

Found this hotel on the internet with many good reviews, and as there are lots of hotels in this price bracket in Bangkok thought we would give it a try - a great decision. Friendly and efficient service was followed by a an extremely comfortable and spacious room with everything you could ask for. Would note that the pool is...

We stayed at the Davis for the 2 nights we were in Bangkok. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon and they told us they were upgrading us to a higher category room complimentary. They asked us to wait for 10 minutes as the mini bar was being restocked. We didnt really mind, but the hotel send a bouquet of...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
