Stayed at Hotel California for the second time. Still an excellent find with everything we need nearby. Other guests, staff and neighbours were still great company and a pleasure to sit out the front and chat to them all in between the bouts of Bangkok shopping and dentists. Soi 30 is still nice and quiet despite the construction work going...

Location- ok. Beds- ok. Price-ok. Not very clean- ook. Dead frog and some cockroaches-ok we can live with that. 3000 baht missing from our wallet- NOT ok. We had been in the atm the day before, so we knew exactly what we had. We got to pay 3000 less on the bill for the room, so it worked out well...

These people are scammers. They claimed 3,000 baht was stolen from their room. How does this happen when there is a safe in every room. I gave them 3,000 baht off their bill, even though I believe 100% that they just wanted to stay for free! It has also taken them 3 months to write on here. They stayed another...

By no means a 5 star hotel, however, our room was very adequate for our needs and it was a great value (800 THB = $24 USD per night). Brooke (owner) and Sarah (Front Desk) were very professional, courteous and helpful. Room had a small refrigerator and A/C that worked well, along with a hot-pot for heating water (coffee, tea,...

I stayed for 9 nights and found the place is nothing to be shout about nor its as promising as the reviews put it. I took a single room (Lumpini) and I was basically horrified with the condition. The floor is peeling off, the bed is deformed and the pillow seriously needed to be changed. It's extremely overdue and please...

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was ok. It was not good enough for more nights so we moved to "Tune Asok" hotel which was a bit more expensive but way better. The room had a window to the hotel corridor which makes it a bit noisy depending on the other guests. You had to use...

I stayed here with my sibling for four nights while in Bangkok, and found the place charming, and adequate for the price. The location is good - about 100 metres from the main street (Sukhumvit), and another 100 to the nearest Skytrain station. Staff was friendly. We did, however ask for a room with two beds and were given a...

I stayed in the Standard room at first, the bathroom door knob was spoilt and the door could not close properly...the floor was quite dusty and dirty but u could get around in slippers... the toilet doesn't look spick and span but at least the tap, shower etc were working. Later, I stayed in the Economy room.. the air conditioner...

if you are on a fast and quick trip to Bangkok this is a place to be. From Don Mueang AIrport it is relatively quick esp if there is less traffic (when you arrive like late in the evening) I suggest you take the cab to a nearest BTS station if you are on a budget and take it from...
