I think about rooms stuff don't care. We have really bad smell in the room and bathroom. And snow in refreger and a lot of dust everywhere. But nice environment, near this place BTS station and shoping mall.
Very simple hotel with no amenities. Only had soap and shampoo, and 2 bath towels. No drinking water was provided. They would charge THB 1,000 for a lost card. Great location beside Phrom Pong BTS and Emporium Mall. Staff were friendly and helpful. You get...More

This was the 3rd or 4th time I'm back and while it was still relatively new, Nantra 39 was really awesome good value for money.
However, the little hotel is deteriorating rapidly since my last trip. I possibly stayed in the same ground floor room...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

As you reach BTS Phrom Phong, Use Exit 3 and walk down the stairways. Make a U-turn and walk towards Soi Sukhumvit 39. Walk further about 3 minutes, turn left at the first lane ( Sukhumvit 37 Alley/Trok) and walk towards the end and you would see Nantra Sukhumvit 39 at the furthest end on your left. The hotel is actually off Soi Sukhumvit 39 within an alley. The alley is in between Sun Books (sell & buy Japanese books) and Im Chan (roadside Thai food stall).
Use Google Map to key in "Nantra Sukhumvit 39" or the GPS (13.731066, 100.570144) if you still could not locate the hotel. For your information, Exit 1 will lead you to EmQuartier, Exit 4 would lead you to Naraya and Exit 6 would lead you to Benjasiri Park (Queen's Park) and Dinosaur Planet.

It's not advisable to travel during such period of time as most public transports would be off by midnight. It also depends on where you are landing too, whether it's Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) or Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). My advice would be to find the nearest hotel to the airport and bum in for the day before proceeding to your preferred hotel at Sukhumvit area after checking out. At least you would be able to see clearly during broad day light rather than getting lost during the dark hours of the morning with barely anyone around to ask for directions.
