The rooms are just average, I've stayed here a few times before.
Went downstairs to have breakfast, foods good but while sitting outside having breakfast noticed a few rats running past, it was a daily occurrence.
I stayed here many times with my wife and kids, ok rooms, specially the ones overlooking the pool. Free wifi, very good food, always a smile from the girls in reception when you come and go. I found my spot in Bangkok, highly reccomended.

Booked a superior room for two at a budget price, without breakfast, for a cost of $400 for 7 nights. However, the cost was greater and facilities fewer than the Swan Hotel where I stayed in December 2013. No hairdryer or kettle or iron in...More
Stable Lodge is perfectly located near Sukhumvit, excellent service, good food and a small and clean swimming pool. Scandinavian and great Thai food. Good beds. The staff is very friendly and the travel guide is amazing and knows where to send you.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
