This seems to be a mix of some old country mansion converted into small shopping area, hotel and eating place with some live shows sometimes. However hotel is just OK as I have seen far better comfort level at same price. Reception is unfriendly and...More
While in Bangkok with a group of friends for four days during Songkran, we made the most of the bar and restaurants in Silom Village. We all felt the location, food, service and value made it worthwhile to return.
Do not expect much. Earlier this place used to be fabulous location as compared to the area range the price was very less. It is however a good place to stay if u r traveling alone but not with company. Ac leakage was there. However...More
Good, clean hotel. Staff members speak decent English and are pretty friendly.
Price was definitely a bargain, due to its high quality and proximity in the Silom district.
The nearby soi (street) has a woman who sells braised pork w/ rice, that's quite delicious.
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
