It is in a cute area of Bangkok- walking distance to Lumpini Park and Chinatown, a little farther from the airport and the River district. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean.
I am blissful with the stay at Mandarin although it is only a night. Many thanks to the friendly and mindful service of all department. The amenities, foods, cleanliness, and safety are excellent. I love the overall experience I had.
Be warned, this hotel has no open restaurant as I write (27 May) Nowhere on their website or 3rd party websites does it say the restaurants are shut. They are still using Covid as an outdated excuse. Be warned also that there is no step free access to reception, there are at least 5 steps.
A truly delightful stay awaits you. Gracious, kind and helpful staff are encountered at anytime. A sense of luxury around every corner. A calm and peaceful retreat meters away from a main road. Definitely our new home away from home.

I Feel very good with polite and prompt service from front officer. The room is very cozy and comfortable. It remind me of the hotel in Japan. Breakfast is good as well. My friends and I had a very good time at Mandarin Hotel . Will come again for sure.
My first time to Thailand. The staff at the Mandarin hotel were amazing. Helpful and very polite. I am a none speaking visitor and i was made to feel welcome. I will be coming back again very soon. 5*
The hotel front is friendly, breakfast and lunch also nice. The room is clean. I did not go out of the hotel for dinner. I ordered my dinner by Grab food, all restaurants are located nearby, so the delivery was within 10-15min. It was very convieninent. I enjoyed my stay in Mandarin hotel managed by centre point. I want to stay here again.
I booked for myself, my wife and friend to stay 2 nights. We basically had 2 double rooms on the 9th floor. Cost approx £131 per room- per night night. Because it was a bit of treat for all of us to stay in what we thought was a top class Bangkok hotel - I was happy to pay. When we arrived - they said they had upgraded us both so we looked forward to seeing our rooms. Now we have both stayed in good Bangkok hotels before but the rooms- apart from being really very clean; were certainly not as big as we had expected. The double bed though was enormous and very comfortable and the fixtures and fittings were first class. There was an American style electronic toilet installed in the shower area that doubled as a bidet with different settings which was very effective at dealing with personal hygiene. I'd never seen one like that before! Service staff were always very courteous with a smile. We tried the pool which was nice with salt water - however I doubt if the sun could really get to it due to high buildings flanking it on all sides. Now the minuses- Look out the window and you just see a very tall dirty condo flanked by two or 3 building sites making a lot of noise. To add insult to injury the hotel itself was repairing a badly damaged marble tiled floor close to the lift area. They were using drills and hammers and making so much noise that I couldn't even hear what the receptionist said to us when we checked in. This noise continued on and off for the whole time we were there. It was really bad. Looking at the rest of the long marbled floor in the foyer area - I noticed many cracked marble tiles that needed a similar repair treatment so my conclusion is that noise will be a problem for some time now at the Mandarin. For us- that was a big downside of this place and just to be told very sorry I didn't think was good enough. The breakfasts we had were very good with plenty of choice from Thai to full English. A shame the fried eggs were always cold though.…
Excellent Service We stayed at the Mandarin for our Test & Go PCR Test. Everything was very fine - we got the result very quickly - much earlier than expected. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The pickup at airport, trip to the PCR at the hospital and drop of at hotel were very quick an efficient. We would surely appreciate again the services of the Mandarin Hotel
