It ticks most boxes on paper - two very nice pools, a good gym and is clean enough. Yet it is so big it is kind of eery and the decor is quite old which adds to this. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Bangkok at all, and the hotel provided the same vibe for me too. 3/5 seems harsh but fair, ld vote 3.5 if I could as it is very good value in terms the hotel does have many aspects of a luxury hotel.
I stayed in this beautiful hotel as part of my test and go covid scheme. Absolutely amazing food was perfect everyday service was outstanding the staff couldn't do enough for us so polite helpful views of Bangkok was out of this world lovely swimming pool and bar staff were fantastic especially the cocktails
I visited this hotel and to my surprise there was no arrangement for lunch or dinner for the guests. All the restaurants were closed. Bar was not functioning. Breakfast quality was poor. Only best part was the pool. More than Half of the rooms in the hotel were empty but they did not accept my request of changing the room. I the evening the place looked like a Haunted Palace. Also its in the old city so you wont find anything to do nearby.
DO NOT STAY HERE FOR THE TEST AND GO SCHEME! Came here travelling with a few friends and stayed here to do our day 1 and 5 quarantine. The rooms were alike to a premier inn no where near a 5* room with a horrible view of all the air-con units the room smelt of cigarettes, my economy class seats on the plane were better than this. The testing process was incredibly unprofessional. It was done in one of the hotels rooms where it was covered in mess of pot noodles and empty crisp packets and the food they provided to the room was very average. Day 5 testing was an absolute mess we were told to take our antigen test to the doctor where she proceeded to do the most violent COVID test I’ve ever had (caused my nose to bleed because she shoved the stick so far into my nose it was completely inside). We came back to get our negative tests and attempted to upload it to our app so we could catch some internal flights. We had no clue how to upload it as there was no QR code so asked reception to which she attempted for 30 seconds to help and abandoned us to serve other people waiting at the desk! Therefore we went back to the doctor to see if she understood how to upload it and she just sent us back to reception again! We spoke to the manager saying we didn’t need to do another PCR as we had to an antigen on day 5 to which she just laughed in our face and told us we had to PCR so we went back to the doctor to do a second test! The room service was 2 hours later than they said and are still unaware whether our tests will allow us to take an internal flight. Overall awful customer service disgusting rooms and food I wouldn’t feed to my hamster very disappointed, if this hotel is rated 5* the top amount must be 50* because this is nowhere near satisfactory.…
Well I dont understand why they tell on their web sites "Amendable booking" and next if you need change date of arrival, they say "Please be inform you, According to “Booking Policy: No cancellation. No amendment. Non-refundable.” Money, money, money... :(
We have now stayed at the Prince Palace Hotel for the third time and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a very central connection for all activities and the price of the room is reasonable. Check-in and Check-out were always fast and friendly. The two clean and refreshing pools invite you to relax and the view from there to Bangkok's skyline is amazing. The Spa is beautiful and the massage was very relaxing in a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and special thanks to the Assistant Manager Suksan Jullapo who took care of all our needs very warmly and he also gave us lots of recommendations and good advices for interesting sights. Thanks a lot, we will definitely come back.
This is not a 5* hotel. For check-in 1hour waiting. The block C is very old, bathroom is terrible-dirty everything. We have a room with kitchen, living room and bedroom with bathroom at the 18.floors. I just hope, i found something nice here.
perfect location, lovely staff, clean rooms, good atmosphere, good views, bustling outside, but when entering, it's like going to other provinces. One more good point is easy to book this hotel. You can come to check by yourself.
They are cheap because they are terrible. No English. No service at all and cheat you wherever they can. Reception no Aircon. And light ls were off. Even ordering a breakfast will end up in calling police. Really horrible. No Go. I recommend another hotel.
My girl friend and I want to buy a cheap clothes in the morning at the Bo Bae market, so the nearest hotel to stay in is definitely Prince palace hotel. Cheap clean quiet and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
