We were staying in the hotel and been on trip we met a lovely couple who were staying at same hotel. They were from India we mentioned we were eating at the hotel and that we were going to try the Mexican restaurant at same hotel. They advised us to go eat at the Indian as it was something really...

Stayed here for two nights and didn't really want to leave. The location is excellent with loads of restaurants and all you can imagine just around the corner. Walking distance to the skytrain that takes you to and from the airport as it connects to the airport link. Our room was nice, WiFi worked well, the gym was OK and...

We stopped at this hotel for 2 nights. The place is in the center and few steps away from the BTS. A tuk tuk can drop you to the main road. They offer you a glass of fruit juice (bottle juice). It is a nice move many hotels do not even think about Our room was standard but a little...

An excellent hotel in Bangkok and a few meters inside from the main highway which is a very busy street with vehicles, bikes, tuktuk and people all day long and almost past midnight, this hotels location makes it a perfect quite place to stay yet close to the main activity areas. The hotel is very clean, the rooms very spacious...

Centrally located within a 5 minute walk of the sky train, but in a relatively quiet spot for Bangkok. Positive first impressions with a luxurious reception/bar area and efficient and friendly check in staff speaking good English. Room spacious and clean with good views from the window (we were on 22nd floor) and free WIFI. The only criticism was when...

This hotel is all about location. It's a 10 minute walk to the BTS (Sky Train) or MRT (Underground) and the huge shopping mall 'Terminal 21'. There are numerous restaurants, bars and massage parlours all located in the same street. The hotel itself is very good but not great. In truth it's a little tired in some areas but also...

Nice hotel, great location - 5 mins walk to skytrain (BTS) and Terminal 21 shopping precinct. Nice room, bit tired, great view of pool and hotels. Pool is nice - a much needed asset after trawling around the city in stifling heat! Same goes for the SPA - had a lovely swedish massage and facial in their special offer package...

The best thing when visiting Bangkok is to stay at Hotel Rembrandt at Soi 18. Convenient, quiet, central location and nice surroundings on Soi 18 - tailors, restaurants, bars incl. those located inside Rembrandt. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
