I stayed at the Conrad Bangkok September 2023 before and after surgery. I had the best experience, especially with the staff who were amazing and went out of their way to help me. Nothing was too much for them. There was a well built chap at the Concierge desk who was extremely helpful with taxis to the hospital and airport and just general information. The breakfast staff were also amazing, a shout out to Vivian, Joy and Game who I think was the breakfast manager who always kept everything running smoothly and would help me to a table after surgery. The front desk were also extremely helpful, making sure that my brother who had flown in to help me and staying at a hotel close by was offered a day pass so he could have a room key, enjoy breakfast and the pool with me also making check in and out very smooth. The pool staff were very attentive, to the point of giving me pillows so that I would be comfortable. I feel like the attention to detail really made my stay stand out as nothing was too much, and even though i was recovering my stay was made so relaxing that I was able to chill and really recover without worrying about anything. The hotel was also clean and the pool area beautiful, but for me personally it was the staff that made my visit one that I will never forget. Thankyou!…

This is a wonderful property with excellent staff. The facilities are well-kept and modern. The staff is friendly. It is in a quiet part of town, providing a respite from the more chaotic tourist areas. The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is outstanding. Game, Toey in the breakfast buffet was always hospitable and helpful.

The perfect hotel if you travel with an infant. The hotel staff is accommodating and helped us with all our requests, including cooking food we brought for our infant at no additional charge. They have a wide range of dishes for breakfast and all their whole staff is wonderful, always greet you with a smile. The host Vivian was very helpful and always checked in on us. Had a great time and will definitely come back.

Positive: -Some rooms come with a fantastic view -nice fitness studio + pool -good location and well connected Negative: -unreliable and unhelpful customer service -room without a proper working shower, while issues takes hours to get resolved Overall: Wouldn’t recommend this hotel, there are much better option available in Shanghai. Experience is at this hotel isn’t on the level of other Conrad hotels and even despite the relatively low price I can’t recommend a stay there.

I have stayed here over 30 times and was delighted to return albeit for a short stay. As a Diamond member I was impressed with the service and friendliness of everyone, especially once an appropriate late checkout had been agreed. If I could highlight one of the many good people working here I would like to commend Ms Praew in the Spa Health Centre reception: she was positive, helpful and communicated well. She also organised a tennis hitting partner for me on the newly resurfaced courts, and he in turn was very good to hit with. The Executive Lounge is well run even when busy for evening drinks. Staff are smartly dressed and attentive; I’m grateful to the really nice smiling team member who offered me a takeaway coffee when I was rushing off for my flight (thanks and sorry I didn’t get your name). Lunch at The Diplomat bar was excellent washed down by a very nice Grayson Chardonnay. Overall, it just felt good and credit to Mr Salisbury, the GM, for building such a good team climate in his hotel.…

I am in the midst of my trip so I will write another review. However, this morning I had breakfast and it was an amazing experience and needed to share. I have food allergies and have been extremely nervous to eat. Amy took care of me. She went above and beyond to ensure I understood the menu and communicated with the chef. In addition her kindness, warming smile and demeanor made my day. I am extending 2 more nights instead of going to the Marriott. I was going for the rooftop pool by service is so much more important to me.

I was amazed at the reception we had , doors opened by the bellmen’s. Always greeted with a smile, housekeeping is on their A game . My concierge Toon take such great care of us . He is amazing, patient, polite. I will return there just for Mr Toon , he’s a great asset to Hilton. Yaem at the restaurant treated me with amazing kindness, making my oatmeal the way I like it . Great staff , great stay.

the title is long, but this the review. many times "good service" is not genuine and you know immediately if it is just training. don't get me wrong, friendliness and good service are all good. the difference is to get the genuineness from the people at the hotel and feel that-- this you cannot train no matter what. on this trip, Saipaan in the exec lounge on the 29th floor was GENUINE. She really goes out of her way to make 100% sure to see you are COMFORTABLE first and then addresses your request. this is unique and she does this naturally-- you can feel that she WILL and CAN help you. whomever hired her to come to the conrad needs a medal. her attitude permeates to her colleagues and team-- and they need to be mentioned too: Bank, Unya, Net, Pann, Oatt thank you for the perfect stay! (even the door persons when i left the hotel, made 100% sure i got in the right car, etc. never got the gentleman's name, but was great-- i left around 8:30 am on Nov 30-- can u tell that person a special thank u! (comment-- can u have the door persons have name badges? it would really help to know their names. they are often the first and last people u see from the hotel-- and are very undervalued.)
