A true oasis in the busy city of a Bangkok where you can expect to be pampered like royalty. Property is an enclosed premise styled like a resort with beautiful gardens and rooms located away from the noisy surroundings streets. Rooms are spacious, well-decorated with local elements including wood works and paintings. Service was excellent with hotel staff being very...

I love the Sukhothai, and for me, it is by far the best hotel in Bangkok. The rooms are furnishings are classy, yet understated, the service is outstanding and the food served in the restaurant is beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here- I loved the addition of chocolate truffles in the room every day! We were upgraded free of...

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sukhothai. We had booked a Superior room and were upgraded to a Deluxe room upon check-in and stayed in a beautiful room that overlooked the pool (in the building across the courtyard from the main lobby). We really appreciated the friendliness and professionalism during check-in and after, when Eve escorted...

The Sukhothai is a real five-star hotel, no question about it. But how to qualify perfection? Of all the hotels I have visited and stayed in, unquestionably the most refined in its own quiet, zen-like manner. Two nights with my family in a suite were a perfect end to a holiday. If you like elegance and refinement with the best...

Before I start, this is a review for the deluxe room. This is an excellent hotel, with very friendly staff and very nice touches of hospitality that makes you feel pampered. Certainly one of the finest experiences I have had. The hotel interiors/decor overall emphasize the Thai uniqueness. Going for the Deluxe Room seems to be a wise decision (though...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
