This was a unique find withe the help of Buffalo tours. One could stay in nondescirpt any 5 star box with high rise towers and not have any feel for the place. This one has garden with lotus leaves as a water feature in the middle to megapolis Bangkok. One did not feel one was in concrete jungle. The rooms...

Wonderful property, serene and tasteful, really oasis of calm in busy Bangkok. Healthclub is one of the best I've been to. Breakfast quality is excellent and service staff from front door to counter to restaurants were impeccable!

On departure, I reached out to Paul at the front desk and requested for check-out. However, upon he took the room cards from my hand, he immediately and deliberately dropped the cards onto the desk. He also asked us questions with a disdain smile. It was really rude of him and I have no idea why I was treated in...

Since a lot has already been written, I just can confirm our positive experience in this hotel. It is a quiet place, well maintained, with (in general) a good service attitude. The few hick-ups were either minor and of no consequence or quickly revolved. We found the room well equipped, clean at all times and quiet (we slept well indeed,...

Admittedly very tired after a long flight, we arrived at the Sukhothai full of anticipation and sooo looking forward to the experience. So it was a little disappointing to have the taxi door flung open and a man to bark "don't leave anything inside!". We then proceeded to check in and were dealt with in a very impersonal manner by...

This is my second stay at the Sukhothai Bangkok. The rooms are well appointed and have a luxurious feel with dark wood floors and furniture and fixtures througout. I was in just a basic room and it already had a very large washroom with both a large bathtub and a shower. Even the toilet was the Japanese automatic variety with...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
